Called in and spoke to Victor. Victor was great from the phone call to when I arrived. You could tell he really cared about the animals. He helped me get Spot who is perfect. There was also a girl in there taking pictures of a little dog called Sneezy. She was very nice and could tell she loved the animals. I had a great experience!

Our curious cat anchovy got out of our home late one night. I think he was chased by a coyote to a house down the street. The neighbor had him picked up by animal control. With a saving grace my other neighbor saw the post on nextdoor. Which is how we tracked him down. We got our boy back 4 days after he vanished. When I picked him up he was well cared for and happy to see us. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I got my doggie the vaccination package deal and drove to the other location in which was excellent! It was sort of like a drive through and it only took about 30 mins. The only down side is that in order to get official records printed (you receive the receipt of payment), you need to go to this main location… When I went to go pick up the records (go to the right side), the gentleman in the front was super nice, got it printed out and stamped. I was in and out of there in 5 minutes! Edit: Reply to Yavapai Humane Society comment, I called and asked if you guys emailed records and they said no. It actually took me a month to make it fit in my schedule to pick up the records since I don’t live close to that location which made it very inconvenient.

Great experience. Every staff member I interacted with on my 3 visits was very helpful & friendly. Everyone was patient as I saw my dog three separate times to be sure of our fit. They are trying hard in what I imagine is a tough profession.

3 months ago we went to Humane Society to inquire via phone about a dog who was in the newspaper. We then scheduled an appointment and were greeted warmly and were given a tour. The grounds and all dogs were clean n well taken care of, the entire facility was clean and well up to date, painted. We ended adopting Panda whom we kept his name Thank you for a wonderful experience. God Bless everyone n all the animals you shelter. Tory n Caroline n Panda

We love our sweet and gentle new girl! Aspen (known as Notus at the shelter) is settling in nicely with her brother, Finn. She is just what we were looking for in a companion for him. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind! Thank you Yavapai Humane Society! We couldn't be happier! 💖🐾
