Description The Day Care and Boarding at VCA Thumb Butte Animal Hospital offers boarding facilities for your pets that include indoor runs, dedicated cleaning and ventilation systems, and non-slip flooring. Dogs are let out several times a day in our enclosed yard. Cats are housed in a separate area, away from barking dogs, to reduce stress. Our sunny cattery features spacious condos that include separate areas for relaxing, eating and play. We provide comfortable bedding and immaculate housekeeping. Our guests receive daily exercise, love, and attention. We also offer medical boarding for special needs dogs and cats. Our well-trained, caring staff provides gentle and loving care for your pets.

VCA Thumb Butte is by far the best in the area! The reception area is clean and the girls are so friendly. We had Tara as our nurse and she was wonderful, very thorough, kind, and knowledgeable. Dr. Katie was AMAZING. She is so smart and loved Franklin. You could feel the passion and dedication with everyone you talk to! Thank you for the great experience VCA! Franklin and I will not go anywhere else!!!

They wanted me to pay in advance for the appointment which I was okay with. I didn't have my card with me and told the front office to schedule my appointment just in case. I'll call or they could call to make the payment the front office gal was so rude about it ,people just don't want to talk to the manager just because both the manager and front office were so rude towards me .The best thing they ever did was not to reschedule my baby's appointment, there HUNGRY for MONEY they definitely don't care about our babies or residents I was referred to this place from a good doctor's fried. The doctors are great and the staff is amazing but the front office is horrible I have never experienced something like this both front office and the manager so unprofessional, "yelling at me telling me not to repeat myself again"that I shouldn't come back anymore! I also felt discriminated against, they told me I had to move somewhere else which is the best thing I did. Please research before bringing your babies here to this place there are other wonderful places and they work with you if you're struggling financially.

I took my ferrets here to see Dr. Z for a second opinion yesterday. I was taking them to PAH but they simply know nothing about ferrets. Dr. Z is so kind and compassionate and my ferrets love him. The vet tech Kailey is absolutely wonderful as well! We had a wonderful experience and I am glad to say Dr. Z will be caring for my babies from here on out. Everyone in the office is kind and I am so thankful to have found such a wonderful vet for my babies. 5 month update: We still adore everyone at Thumb Butte!! We currently have been seeing Dr. Coston and she is just absolutely AMAZING! She is so kind and loves my babies and does everything she can to help them. She listens to my concerns and how I feel, and that is so important. Dr. Z, Dr. Coston, Kailey and everyone there has such a special place in my heart. I will continue to take all my babies here for as long as I live here.

The staff was fine but I thought it was very inappropriate how the doctor made me feel hustled! I brought my dog in to ask about her red eye. The doctor did an eye exam and did not inform me of the additional charge until he was finishing up the process. It was also in the form of a statement and not a question. I am the sole provider of three with a menial job that doesn't pay much so I was very frustrated with this extra $100 charge that was basically hustled out of me. Very unprofessional approach for a doctor, I was taken aback. Although I was very disappointed I was willing to work out a payment plan but they refused. So I refused to pay and left! They're unwilling to hear me out on the phone when I called about it even though I was totally cool, calm, and collected with them. The guy on the phone held his composure but was also very rude. Now they want to send me to collections and potentially Court for this $160 bill instead of improving the way they do business legally and how they treat their clients.

Took our American Bully here today to get a second opinion on what could have been a very scary problem. Everyone was professional and kind. Dr. Coston examined her, explained things clearly, and eased our worries. We were pleasantly surprised that the bill was so reasonable compared to other vets in the area. What a GREAT place!! Just took my Great Pyrenees in....first time here. They made us feel like family!! Will never take my pups anywhere else. Dr Coston is by far the best vet we've been to. I can not sing enough praise!! Thank you
