They stink. A few days ago I made a call to report a woman who abandoned her dog near the 99 freeway. They told me that it didn't belong to them, but to the city. After calling the citizens, they told me that it didn't belong to them either because of the address. I told them... then they called me back to the county again and they finally took my call but very rudely I told them several times what kind of dog it was and they repeated the question, it made me want to hang up but I noticed that that was what The lady behind the phone wanted me to come because of the way she spoke.

Same review as everyone else. Employee with a weak a** attitude answering the phone. Talked to a supervisor and got the information I needed as easy as that. Don't know how to properly talk to people, why are you working a job answering phone calls? Who even hired you??

Horrible place. Had two dogs stranded on a construction site for a month. Called here atleast 8-10 times with multiple people here calling the same place just as many times. Only response we got was “we’ll see if we can make it” day after day. A whole month went by while the dogs never left. Eventually one was ran over and killed and the other is still here to this day being taken care of by construction workers. Complete waste of tax dollars and horrid negligence from this place. A whole month of calling and they could not make it out ONCE?!?!

Update to my review on bottom, try Allcreatures pet hospital/ work with shelter for injured animals. Shelter call line is a Joke/never answer! ---I have been turned away with injured animals so much that I’ve lost count! Not sure where our tax dollars are going but this shelter isn’t helping to clean up the city from so many homeless Dog and cats while making the problem worst from their Apathy. Careless people SHOULD NOT work with animals. Where is our money going? Such a corrupt City we live in! Cats have no rights like dogs do. Why is that in 2024? It is acceptable for them to be homeless and sick, and the City won't lift a finger! No TNR, only Death Caps (shelter)

These people do not care about injured animals. I called all over the city with no help not even SPD. The phone rings busy. It was 9:30 am and I was told they open at 12:30. By that time the animal may be dead. Terrible people They don’t care. Poor Dog

Call Saturday for a dead dog pick up in my yard, they said we're closed call during operation hours. This was the emergency line mind you. The dog was infested with ticks. I called other numbers as well non emergency police department given the same answer and told police or firefighters will not pick it up. Called Monday, set the appointment was told I have to take it out of my yard myself . It is now Tuesday afternoon almost closing time for them and the dog is still there. So unprofessional. Can't even keep their word. Not to mention whoever answered the phone each time was rude
