We adopted our beautiful puppy here a week and a half ago. She was Chloe, now Gracie. Our experience was great. Everyone was kind, and they also make sure your pup is microchipped & spayed. Even her first vaccinations. There’s so many amazing dogs here who need homes. I am so glad we chose the shelter to adopt our Gracie girl. If you are looking for a new furry friend, PLEASE come here. 🙏🏻🐾

Going in here is probably one of the saddest yet happiest day of my life seeing all the puppies and dogs that need homes but we adopted a beautiful puppy and renamed her Sky she is in a loving caring home with two loving girls who play with her all the time and a little baby boy our baby girl Sky loves very much. The people at the Shelter were very nice and helpful as well.

Never answered the phone goes to voicemail never get a call back dog has been dead and floating in the City of Stockton Downtown Marina for 5 days. They said they would be out Tuesday ten again on Wednesday end of business day on Wednesday and it's still floating.

We took a 20 year old feral cat my mom has been feeding for years. He was skin and bones and covered in flies from an abscess on his ear. Had not eating and was just laying around very still. He was given done food at the shelter and ate a bit. The shelter determined because he ate, he should be returned to the outdoors. One week later my 91 old mom was able to get him in a carrier and a neighbor took him to an emergency 24 hr vet. Long story short they euthanized him and told my mom it was way past his time to go. Shame on you for making him endure another week of being outside in the cold covered with flies.

Ok THIS PLACE has the most amazing dogs you will ever see. Sadly the building is small and very outdated but you cannot judge the staff because of this or the animals. Totally understated how amazing the dogs are. You will find gorgeous breeds-- everything from GSDs to border collies to Catahoula leopard dogs. Plus you'll be helping a shelter that needs help offloading dogs badly. I've already adopted 2 from them. Won't hesitate to adopt more in the future!
