Jolene is by far the RUDEST person in an animal protection position I have ever spoken to. I was nothing but polite to her, trying to explain the difficulty I've been having trying to catch the feral mother cat in my yard, so that she could get fixed. She told me I could reschedule, and when she didn't like the date I suggested for the safety of the animal, she actually yelled at me, saying she was doing me a favor by rescheduling, and that it had to be this week. That's fine, try talking instead of yelling. I explained that the mother cat was still nursing and needed to dry up before she could be fixed (something she explained to me herself), which is why I needed it scheduled further out. Not for my convenience, but for the safety of the cat. She then interrupted me and started yelling at me again, saying I said the mother cat wasn't still nursing when I initially called (I did not). When I tried to explain that wasn't true, she interrupted me again and started yelling "MA'AM! MA'AM! That's not true!" She then told me I could bring in the cat this week or I would forfeit my deposit. Keep in mind I wasn't asking for a refund or anything, I just wanted to get an appointment that would work for the mama cat's safety based on what she told me. At this point I told her that in the interest of the mother cat's safety, and because I didn't appreciate being yelled at when I was speaking calmly, I would go somewhere else and she could keep my $50 deposit. She then tried to call me back, but I'm not interested in being yelled at anymore. It's really a shame someone just trying to help the feral cat problem would be treated like I was. Tread carefully, I thought I was but I still got yelled at. 😟
Kind and friendly staff. They took really good care of my dog when I took her in to get her fixed. After the procedure was completed they were a little worried for her, so they asked to keep her a little longer to make sure she all good to go home. I definitely recommend them!
I brought in a foster senior to be spayed. Everything about my trip was chaos, BECAUSE OF ME, and yet the staff was SOOOO AMAZING!! I am sure my nerves played a lot into my initial reactions but I couldn’t be happier with how this future ESA was treated. I am EXTREMELY grateful they required bloodwork, at a phenomenal price, (I literally called 3 different vets for pricing) to ensure this little is in good health for her new mama. Thank YOU for everything and for educating me in the reasons behind what is done and why. Bravo!
