Description Fort Smith Animal Haven is a No-Kill animal shelter that serves Fort Smith, Arkansas. All animals picked up by Fort Smith Animal Control are brought to us for medical care, reunification with owners, adoption or transport. We also offer basic animal medication to the general population.

I really felt welcomed here!! The staff were very friendly & accommodating to us when were there looking dogs...& picking one out that fit our family....which we did find one that my husband & I fell in love with & decided to adopt him!! His name is Brody & he has his forever home!! We love him dearly!! (It is a transition for him & us, but worth it!! Because, not only did we get a family member, but he got a forever home!!)

ZERO STARS!! this place is ran by some of the rudest people I've ever seen in my life!! Nobody was in the lobby so we walked out to see the dogs. They then acted like we committed a crime by looking at the dogs. Then they proceed to say "you can always come look at the dogs"....clearly not! And she stated the website is down. So if you can't look in person or online, how will they ever get adopted??? Poor animals.

We Got our new Family member and I was very happy with the Staff. Very professional and Friendly I Just Wish I could have been able to Bring All 3 Home with me But My Furbaby ONLY picked 1 and her name Was Claire. She has Made My Heart whole After having to Put my Best Friend Down After 13 Years of suffering with cushings. Broke my Heart But this little bundle of JOY has brought Joy back to the Family... Thank You Animal Heaven For All The Hard Work Y'all Do.

Only place that we could find that could donate dog food out of a million other places for our 10 rescues. They we're very Nice employees and even though all they could help out with was a gallon zip lock full still a blessing no matter the amount seeing there was no place that could or would in any surrounding countys from waldron all the way out quite a few hours distance in each direction that we contacted that helped with dog food the best they could. There are really good people out there that really care and try helping no matter what. Thank yall so much and hope yall have a very blessed day and that blessings continue
