No vet compares. They took the best care of my dogs, Bailee and Frank. The environment was stress free, from the Dutch doors that made communication easy in each room, to sitting on the floor instead of exam tables to help keep things as relaxed as much as possible. Calling and checking up after appointments. Speaking clearly and with compassion. Loving my pets like I do. I’ve yet to find a vet that even comes close now that I’ve moved to Indiana. Really miss the care and staff at Los Robles!

These folks definitely worked with me and my nervous dog to get a diagnosis for the cause of her pain. The vet was persistent and has been able to prescribe medications so Pacchi feels better most days. I don't love the online method for ordering medication. I'm getting better using that site. But it's a bit cumbersome and adds extra steps. The only other piece that bothered me is this: when Pacchi was in for her diagnosis, the vet thought she might have cancer. It was scary. We arranged for me to come back after work at 3:30, but when I got there, the vet had left for the day. She gave me a detailed note explaining Pacchi doesn't have cancer. But she wasn't available for me to ask specific questions. I had some trouble reconnecting with her. When I did, she was very helpful and informative. In the end, I got just what I needed. I would like to have known ahead of time that she would be gone when I came back, just so I could prepare. I was pretty worried about that speculative diagnosis and felt let down. I still use Los Robles and do recommend it to others. I also recommend they get clear on how they will make contact with the vet if the appointment is later in the afternoon or if they have to leave their animal for awhile. Still give the place four stars.

Dr. Melanie and the team are amazing. The interior and exterior of the building look like your favorite aunt's house rather than a Vet's office. The staff are sweet, knowledgeable and loved my dog, so of course I love them too.

She's a true pro who is clearly committed to her business and patients - you can without any reservations entrust your furry kiddos to her.

Since I've been seeing Dr. Donofro at Lost Robles for more than 10 years - I felt it was time to update my review. She has provided the highest quality and most compassionate veterinary care for the 5 beloved dogs that have come into my life for more than a decade. I have presented her with some of the most challenging and difficult cases of her career I suspect, and she always delivers. My sweet Molly had a very difficult seizure disorder that was complicated with an electrical injury she has as a baby before I adopted her, and Dr. D. kept Molly going, happy and content for many more years than anyone expected her to stay with us. She saved her life multiple times and because she thinks outside of the box and embraces a variety of traditional and holistic modalities, she accomplished life changing and life saving treatment on Molly time and time again. Dr. D. has also provided miracle working care for two of my dogs fighting cancer, and my sweet Sammy, who doesn't become ill very often, but when he does, he requires Dr. D's brilliant, unique, and expert care. I'm hoping my puppy Charlie gives her a break and doesn't bring the strange, weird, and "WTH" kind of cases that are typical with my dogs. LOL. Dr. D truly cares, stays incredibly involved in continuing education, is an expert researcher, and maintains relationships with experts through the state for those times when she needs to refer out. I truly hope she doesn't retire anytime soon!!

So far, so good. Enjoyed the vet and tech’s personal attention. I never saw a vet, or got to observe their inspections of my dogs at S. Monroe Animal Hospital. This place feels much more like what a vet was pre-pandemic. Not expensive either.
