I came here to get a dog scanned for a microchip and hopefully return it to it's owner within 30 minutes. The staff was pleasant and I was able to return the dog, however, upon entering there was a terrible oder of urine and feces....smelled like they maybe clean once a week. This oder assaulted me when I first walked in, I didn't even go back to the animal housing area. I would guess they need a lot more staff to clean kennels.

This is a beautiful facility. We were able to adopt a very lovely dog. She is pretty, loving, and nicely behaved. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and efficient.

I adopted my awesome pooch Lola here a few weeks back. The volunteers and staff were extremely helpful with it being my first time adopting from a shelter. I even called in to ask for more info about my dog before adopting and the lady on the phone was very knowledgeable and familiar with my dog, and happy to answer questions. I was also impressed that I didn't see very many signs of illness in their animals at all; it seems that they do a good job quarantining and treating their animals quickly. I had a great experience here and would highly recommend this shelter. **Update** Over two years later Lola is the happiest pup ever, and 100% a member of the family. I would definitely adopt another dog (or cat) here.

Very sweet people there. Can help get you an animal or if going through SNAP, get your fireballs fixed up quickly. They've been there since I adopted my two ferrets in 2007 and have helped save many lives.
