Dr. Walker was great! My dog had a tumor on her lower eyelid that other vets said to watch. It seemed to have gotten bigger after just 6 months from being examined. He said remove it and I agreed. I can't tell where it was! Staff was awesome. Great communication regarding post-op instructions. They gave me a treatment plan(estimate) and when I went to checked out that was the price, which was quite a bit lower than previous vet if they were to do it. Love them!
Just got back from "Chance's" visit and wanted to make sure and leave a positive review for your clinic. Our long-time vet has been out for a while and Chance needed his annual shots. I was also concerned that he might have a fever. I called and "Emily" got us in the next day. Upon our arrival two nice ladies handled the curbside intake/return. Spoke to Dr. T.J. Walker on the phone from the car (since no face-to-face possible) and appreciated his thoughtful review and obvious 'care' for my dog's health. Upon 'checkout', there was a bit of confusion on the requested services. I believe the COVID-19 procedures contributed to the issue, but "Colby" did a good job resolving the issue to my satisfaction and I would 100% recommend Animal Clinic of Arlington.
Dr. Walker is a very knowledgeable and experienced Vet. He has cared for both my cat and dog over the years. He has never pushed me to have unnecessary tests and has always been thorough. Highly recommend.
Wonderful office that makes it a point to take care of you and your pet! Or little guy was feeling terrible after being treated to a prime rib bone from our christmas dinner. We were so worried he was blocked and needed surgery or something but the staff here looked him over and gave him the best care and didnt make us spend hundreds for unnessicaary tests and such. They even called us a few days later to see how he was feeling. Id highly reccomend this vet to anyone!
This office has a remarkable group of individuals that are awesome, caring and professional. Hard to find that all in one spot anymore. Kudos to Dr. TJ and staff thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking excellent care of Bella!!!
Yesteday, I took my cat to the vet because she wasn’t feeling well. I explained that she appeared to be in pain and would like to do bloodwork. The doctor said that the symptoms I was describing were vague and that I needed to stop giving her ear drops for an infection she had two weeks prior to this visit. The doctor insisted that bloodwork was preemptive and that it wasn’t necessary at the time to drum up a big bill. I asked for him to do something for her pain, was informed that I was being preemptive and that she was clearly depressed and I needed to stop comparing her behavior to my two other healthy cats. I asked again to do bloodwork and what would the cost be. At that point I was willing to do whatever because by the doctors own admission it was beyond obvious that I was deeply concerned. He refused to do bloodwork. He refused to give her fluids. Refused to offer any type of pain relief. He did tell me to just watch her and to call back if she wasn’t feeling better. This morning, she passed away. I was desperate for something to be done. I asked what the costs would be. I wasn’t offered price quotes and was refused any type of treatment. But the doctor collected his $60 for the examination visit yesterday and today my cat died.
