I took my guinea pig there and had to drive over an hour. His own vet wouldn’t see him and told me I needed to take him to this hospital. I am so grateful for all of them. They got him back right away and kept me updated within minutes! Everyone was so compassionate, kind and patient with me. They were honest with their recommendations and unfortunately we decided to put him down. Thank you all so much. Your kindness really helps in these extremely tough situations. I will forever be grateful and recommend this hospital!

This place saved my cats life and I am forever grateful. I had a great experience, even though, like most, it was an emotional visit. The facility was clean and comfortable. Every staff member was knowlegable and meticulous. They called/texted with updates daily while my cat stayed for surgery. Thank you to the EVH of Ann Arbor staff from Augustus!!

The compassion and communication this veterinary hospital provides should be an example for all in the area. My sweet boy was taken care of in his time of need and the staff made the heartbreaking process very peaceful for him. I will never forget all of kindness and professionalism exhibited by all staff. Sincerely, thank you all.

Worst place ever!!! Called before to make sure they could take my French bulldog in when I got there and I still had to wait 30 min for them to take him back when he was dying and they didn’t tell me anything for hours until I came in there and demanded to talk to the vet. Then they never gave him pain medicine until I told them they need to and when they took his X-rays they further broke his spine because they didn’t know what they were doing and left him in a kennel in pain for hours!! Then when I could finally take him home they told me I needed to put him down and he couldn’t even walk out of the vet even though he was able to walk in there!! This vet paralyzed my dog and I had no choice but to put him down since they put him in so much pain and didn’t give him medicine for hours. Never take a pet you care about here. My sweet boy was put down because of this horrible place

Long story short, If you're looking up reviews in an emergency, go with this place. You'll pay the premium but they do awesome work My male cat, Smokey, had a UTI and blocked urethra so he couldn't urinate, a death sentence for cats. I took him in at 8:00 p.m. on a Tuesday night. They said if it seemed urgent he would be bumped to the front (it was). They kept him on meds and catheter. They have a wonderful rotating staff. Everybody was very sweet and knowledgeable. They gave me updates twice a day (every 12 hours) over the 2.5 day stay It was expensive $2100 (low end of estimate). It's an emergency hospital. They have a few ways you can pay, including some loan/credit stuff through 3rd parties which didn't work for me (not their fault, the credit companies fault). Their system is organized but they seem very overwhelmed. I'm sure it's the emergency nature. After every vet closes they get slammed. You can't time emergencies, but they do the best they can. I live in Grass Lake. They were closest I got an amazingly detailed report at the end along with medication and instructions. I called and had questions that were answered immediately. They told me to follow up with my normal vet which I did. Great, caring place

My sweet boy was constantly vomiting for three days. And the worst day was on a Saturday evening. All vet offices were closed Sunday but my husband and I were really worried about him as this is unusual behavior. He was low energy, not eating for over 24hrs. He looked terrible and felt light. We took him in and they ran tests. His kidneys were having issues and he also had a urine infection. They needed to keep him for a couple nights to get those values stable. They contacted us twice a day, in the morning at 6:30 for shift change and then again in the evening. They saved my cat. They were attentive, friendly, and gave excellent feedback on how to manage his condition over the next couple week following another blood test and exam at our usual Veterinary office. Their rates are standard for a pet hospital. I do wish we had insurance on him prior to this but he’s only 3 so kidney issues were not something we ever envisioned. He’s happy and doing a lot better. 5 star service. Do not hesitate to reach out. They care and they have an excellent staff on hand. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!
