Description All Breed Rescue & Training is a non-profit rescue and animal training facility in Colorado Springs. We have served the Southern Colorado community for over two decades, rescuing, rehabilitating, and finding forever homes for at-risk dogs across the state, as well as providing training and behavior modification services to all levels of dog owners. Note! All of our dogs are in foster homes, not at the facility! Meet them on our website - click "Adopt"! Our training program is relationship based and promotes positive reinforcement, utilizing the most scientifically-sound methods available. With classes ranging from Puppy Socialization through competition level nosework, agility, barnhunt, rally, and conformation, we have a class for you!

Our Caviar, Libby is in her third level of training at ABRT. We have both learned so much through their classes. I highly recommend “ The Nose Knows” training. Fun for dogs and their owners.

I recently adopted a dog named Oreo from All Breed. I could not be happier with my entire experience. First of all, Oreo has been in the care of All Breed for over 5 years while they have tried to find him a forever home. His dog reactivity has made it difficult for him as he has bounced from foster to foster, but All Breed never gave up on him, and I am grateful to every single person from their community of workers and volunteers who have shown him love during his journey. I feel truly blessed to finally give Oreo the home he deserves, and he has been nothing but wonderful since I brought him home. He's not broken. There's nothing wrong with him. I didn't adopt a problem dog. He just needs help with his reactivity, but apart from that, he is soooo sweet and loving. As part of his adoption, Oreo came with 4 free training classes to help me learn to take care of him as best I can. I was uncomfortable about bringing him back to their facility for training because I was afraid he might think he was being returned again. As a result, someone from All Breed agreed to meet us at another location to ensure his comfort. There is no question of how much dedication, effort and love everybody at All Breed puts into the dogs in their care. I thank my lucky stars every single day that I have Oreo. He is a blessing, and I love him so much.

Really can’t say enough positive things about this place. The staff members care so deeply about the dogs and will go above + beyond to make sure they are well taken care of. The trainer we worked with, Terje, invested a lot of time into making sure our rescue (Sheriff) would be successful in our home. Thank you Terje, Hannah, and all the ABRT staff for being the absolute BEST!!!

My experience with this rescue was great! Very thorough and professional, and the foster, Morgan, was super helpful in facilitating and helping ease the transition for my newly adopted dog. After an initial introduction at the foster home, she brought the pup over to my house twice so that her presence would be reassuring for the pup in her new surroundings, to start. I would definitely work with 2 Blondes rescue again.

Love all of the instructors, and the classes are awesome! They've been a tremendous help with my reactive aussie and getting my young sheltie into the sport of agility. Would absolutely go here with any future dogs as well :)

I have been working with ABRT for about 2.5 years now with my dog Gunner. We rescued Gunner through ABRT and continue to train him through ABRT. Gunner is ~90# so if he wants to go somewhere he takes you with him! I appreciate that Lauren and the gang work very hard to teach you ... how to train the dog (think train the trainer. ) ABRT is a local non-profit, but their curriculum and plan for how to help out dogs behave! Love love love ABRT!
