I have never thought to leave a review for a vets office but I couldn’t not acknowledge the staff at Southside. We had to make the vet visit no owner wants to do with our senior dog. The care that Dr. Kane and the staff showed us throughout our visit was more appreciated than they realized. They showed our girl love throughout every step and helped us navigate the emotional rollercoaster without an ounce of judgement. They were attentive the entire time and showed the most sincere empathy and care. While every visit we’ve had up til now at the office has been great, this particular experience roots that we made a great choice of vet here in Savannah. We appreciate your TLC today, likely more than you realize! Mollie was in great hands every step of the way and we can’t thank your team enough! We love you Mollie girl ❤️

I am so thankful that my husband and chose this vet clinic around 7 years ago for our kitty babies. We know that when our cats go in, not only will they receive excellent medical treatment, but they will also be shown love and compassion making any issues a little less stressful. We know that our cats are in such amazing hands. Recently, they have gone above and beyond for our little man, Kai and I could not be more grateful.

Dr. Kate Steadley was so amazing and compassionate with our two dogs- we adore her!! Called today about confirming their appointments and they said we "had" to see another doctor. I let them know we weren't comfortable with that and they were definitely NOT accommodating. I'm not sure what's going on but I would've appreciated a heads up. It's so hard to find someone to trust your babies with and I'm not OK with turning them over to just anyone.

Have been taking our animals here for 40 yrs and wouldn't take my animals anywhere else.. The office staff is the best, you can tell they really care not only about the pet but also the owner . There are really no words that can describe how much I appreciate the South side animal hospital, Karen Kane and the staff... My vet forever!

Have been happy with this vet. in the past. Took our current pet in and was told everything looked ok. Pet was still showing symptoms. Called and asked to talk to the vet. Only got the tech. Got some meds. Never got any directions or warnings. Checked online for adverse reactions which the animal started to exhibit. Called back and insistently asked to have vet call at her convenience because I wanted to be assured that nothing was present that could compromise pets health/life. Assistant told me she was call. For whatever reason they didn't think my pets health important enough to return a call for 5 minutes or less.

Amazing practice, they take care of my animals like they are their own. They explain everything so well, go over all options, and have really made us feel like family anytime my fur babies have any needs!
