I have two dogs under Dr. Moores care. I am overall very happy. I appreciate her practical and straightforward approach. Sometimes I can have my mind made up about the way I think my boys should be treated ( holistic meets medical). I always feel respected and heard, and Dr. Moore and staff respect my views. Customer service is excellent the girls there are super sweet. Theo had boarded with them before he is a bit challenging to handle. I have seen numerous times where Dr. Moore and her staff get on the floor and take their time to slowly earn his trust. We never feel that we are taking their time or rushed out the office. My other meatball Noah has chronic ear infections and skin issues. Dr. Moore Has done more than most of the veterinarians my dog has seen to send the sample to a lab and find out specifically what antibiotics work and actually fix the problem. I appreciate, knowing that I can trust your practice, and that my dogs are well taken care of when I leave town. Because Iā€™m sure like many our pets are family. Miller Family

Dr. Moore and the team are fabulous. I brought my 2 year old long haired syrian hamster in because he had a tumor/abscess on his side and I was worried about him. Appointment scheduled for 11:30am, Dr came in around 12:20pm. After doing a health check she gave me my options, and allowed me the time to make a decision. Unfortunately we made the hard decision to euthanize. At 2 years old if it's a tumor it would have been Anaesthesia and surgery. If it was an abscess it would have been cleaning out the wound(which would have been even more stressful for my little guy) and a life spent on antibiotics, with a hole on his side that doesn't close.(i learned when it comes to hamsters and abscesses the hole doesn't close.) It was the hardest decision of my life, but imo the responsible thing to do for my little guy. Especially at his age. Still didn't make it any easier. I was a blubbering mess throughout the entire appointment. When it came time for the Dr to give the euthanasia shot, she explained everything and even allowed me to hold my little guy after she gave the shot, until I was ready to hand him over and say goodbye. We decided to have him privately cremated. Which meant I would get him back in a little urn, with his paw print and a section of his hair. We spent a little less than $300, and imo that was fair, as blue pearl quoted me almost $300 just for euthanizing alone. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the wait time. I don't understand why appointments are booked when the Dr can't come see u until almost an hour after the appointment time. I do understand things get busy and situations come up, but still. I would definitely recommend you take your babies to Dr Moore and the team. They are kind, experienced and will ensure you know all of your options without pushing you to go one way or the other. Thank you to Dr Moore and the rest of the team. Her assistant was amazing as well and I really appreciated her calm demeanor and kind heart during such a rough time for me. If you love your little guys and want to ensure they get proper treatment, and you know at all times what is going on, go to Eastbay animal hospital. Edited: I got Harley back today and am so so so happy with everything. I wish Google would let me attach pictures. They gave me his ashes in a beautiful wooden box that has flowers carved in the top of the box, his paw print on a clay brick with his name etched into the clay, and also a couple of locks of his hair and a certificate to show when and where Harley was cremated at. I also love the fact that they sent home a grief pamphlet. Would totally recommend you bring ur babies to dr moore and the team

Office was clean and staff was wonderful. They took great care of my pup and put her on the path to recovery. Very thankful for all they did and their compassion toward my pup and my husband and me. Not so great looking location, but in this case, the "cover" doesn't matter. Really awesome vet.

After looking for a place to take our Guinea pig for a cheek abscess this is the only vet that could take him in right away, they also boarded him for us as we were going out of town the next day, they gave him his medicine and treated him super well. We took him in for a follow up appointment today and he is happy and healthy. Everyone that we talked to at this vet were so nice and helpful from the front desk to the technicians and doctor. I would highly recommend!

Dr Moore and her staff are very professional, kind and patient. My Maggie is a White German Shepherd and like most dogs doesn't care much about visiting the vet. They know exactly how to handle her and I am always part of the process. Maggie hurt her leg recently and I took her to see Dr Moore and I was pressing the need for an Xray. After a thorough exam of her leg Dr Moore said that Maggie had fluid around the injury and she wanted to do treatment to the area with a Red Laser. Well, she made the right decision and the Laser treatment was less expensive than the Xray. Maggie is all better and I am grateful... FIVE STARS ALL THE WAY..šŸ˜Š

Needed a new veterinarian after being left high and dry by my previous veterinarian, so I gave East Bay Animal Hospital a try after reading good reviews. Dr. Moore and her staff are amazing. Friendly, helpful, and care a great deal about your pet. Even though our cat escaped, ran around and hid from them. I can't say enough good about them.
