Making the decision to send your precious fur baby to the rainbow bridge is never an easy decision. But when the time came for my sweet Jackson, I did lots of research on in-home euthanasia options and came across Parting Paws and I am so incredibly thankful I did. Dr. Abby was very responsive and answered any questions I had regarding the process. When the dreaded day came, she was extremely compassionate and made me and my Jackson feel like family. I had just met her and felt so incredibly comfortable with her in a very vulnerable time for any pet owner. She allowed us to perform the process wherever we wanted to and gave me as much time as I needed to say my goodbyes. We talked about memories and she genuinely cared and was gentle and loving with him. She explained the entire process as she went through the motions and I couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful and respectful way to say goodbye to my baby. She provided a beautiful paw print keepsake and even left a little surprise that I found later that really touched my heart. Thank you so much, Dr Abby, for making such a hard thing a little less hard. I am forever grateful for you!

We will never be able to thank Dr. Abby enough for giving our Harmony the best care. Our girl was never a fan of vets or really most people in general and she took to Dr. Abby IMMEDIATELY!! I called to schedule an appointment and within 10 minutes I heard back. She is so incredibly kind and caring and truly has the most calm, loving energy. We are so thankful we had the opportunity to allow our girl to cross the rainbow bridge in the comfort of her own home❤️

A thorough review is necessary: We had known our first born, Maya was on the other end of her lifeline...she had been going downhill w/ her arthritis and cancer. We came home Sunday eve to her back legs completely cramped up and not working. Poor baby could not even get herself on all fours w/o our help. It was a VERY hard decision to make as partly like any parent we wanted her to stay here w/ us. I had done some research prior to all this, but was recommended Dr. Abby Regner via Dog Moms of Tampa Bay Facebook group. Everything they said about Abby, turned out to be 100% true. Kind. Compassionate. Reassuring. Patient. When last week Thursday came about, Abby arrived, reassured us that this is a safe place and it's okay to be emotional, we didn't have to be brave. She introduced herself to Maya who was already moved onto her bed and in a cozy place. After completing the paperwork, we all nestled up by Maya for the process. I will say that this was not what we wanted, but was the right thing to ensure Maya would be pain-free. Maya was soft, and sleepy, just at peace before Abby administered the final shot. She gave us all the time we needed and encouraged Maya's sister/littermate, Piper to come over and give final loves and smells. She helped us move Maya from our house to her car, and still even allowed us a couple of minutes for a final goodbye. Dr. Abby did go ahead and transport my baby to Pet Passages, which honestly made me feel better since I know she'd be in great care...but honestly, I don't think we would've been able to do it ourselves. I whole-heartedly recommend Abby for end of life care for your furbaby. I hate to say it - but am glad to say it as well - that when the time comes, I will use her again in the future for my other senior dog. Thank you Dr Abby for giving our sweet Maya the most peaceful departure and being so thoughtful in the process. Truly appreciate it. - Tyler, Mari, Piper, & Elinor

December 3, 2023 was the most difficult day of my life. I had to make the call that after 14 years with my Nellie girl I never wanted to make. Dr. Regner was amazing. My heart was destroyed and the minute she walked in I regretted making the call. She was so kind and gentle and assured me I was doing the best thing for my Nellie girl. She wanted to know what Nellie’s life was like, what did she love to do, and seen how loved she was. She was so compassionate and kind, and even Nellie felt at peace with her. She did not rush me with my goodbye. I was able to hold Nellie in my lap in her home where she felt safe and loved and not in an office where she knew nothing. I highly recommend Dr. Regner and her services to come to your home. It was the saddest day of my life, but I know that after she left me, Nellie was in safe hands for her final journey With Dr. Regner. Thank you for you sincere empathy and for taking my girl on her last ride with such care and love.

I just want to say a huge THANK YOU to Dr. Abby. She was referred to me by a friend and I couldn't have asked for a more compassionate person to cross my baby over to doggy heaven. My heart is shattered. Thank you Dr. Abby for assisting my baby girl who I loved so very much. You were everything I expected plus some. I will highly recommend you to anyone who has to go through the most difficult time in their life. So thank you from the bottom of my heart. My girl will dream about her couch and cheeseburgers everyday, I'm sure of that! 🩵🩵🩵
