I have adopted two dogs over the years from this location. The people working their including the volunteers deserve all the kudos they can garner. I also donate a small amount each month and have done so for years, wish I could do more. My most recent visit I donated some slightly used dog toys my dog had no interest in. The staff was VERY APPRECIATIVE. Again, thank you all for ALL you do for these animals in need!

We insisted on getting a dog who apparently has a "brother" there also, and they are 2 years apart. The lady at the front told us it is recommended to get them both. I insisted on just getting one because I don't have the space for 2 dogs. Then the lady got an attitude and told us no, saying they are inseparable. I asked again if it was an option to get just one of them, but she told us yes, you can get just one, but it's highly recommended to get them both. She wasn't even the sales lady. This place has terrible customer service, and she denied us of getting the dog without even knowing us or learning about the environment the dog would be in. She judged us and denied us service of getting the dog that we really enjoyed. The dog was really sweet and it opened up to me really nice in the time I got to spend with him. I feel really bad and I hope someone who is available to take 2 dogs come by soon because I doubt there is a family nearby able to take 2 huge dogs. It isn't fair the dog has to suffer in a cage by himself when he could already be in a home right now. Probably the same for his brother as well. #freetaemin

Had a great experience. Staff was super nice and very informative. Went with my cousin to adopt a new friend for him. We found Blue. Good dog, well trained. The staff named him Blue, in which we liked the name so we kept 💙 the name 😉

I am questioning who screened the waste of flesh and oxygen who got Dexter. Train your people to do better screenings or turn over the animals to someone who can. I cannot imagine what this poor dog suffered. FREE ADOPTIONS? REALLY? Dogs are not disposable. You disposed of Dexter and he died. I hope your entire staff NEVER forgets Dexter's face because you failed him!

Would have been helpful if, on the reminder card they sent out for dogs to renew their rabies shots, they told you the shots were by appointment only and only on certain days! I didn't see the info anywhere on the website either. 😕 however, the woman who met me at the door was very helpful and made an appointment for another day for my dog.

I love coming here to visit the animals up for adoption! Usually somebody is in the lobby to help answer any questions you might have. My main concern is with the inside dog area. Heard they'd be making renovations so it's a more comfortable environment. Will see next time I come to visit.
