Owner is a spineless, heartless, money-obsessed/money-laundering shill and cannot be trusted as far as you can throw her. Ask anyone who TRULY knows her and I doubt you'll hear anything different. If you're considering going with the Dog Resort in any capacity, slam on your brakes and consider the fact that no one who works for her has ever had anything respectful to say about her unless they have a proverbial gun to their head.

They took great care of our dog and sent us tons of lovely pictures. Our dog was just over 3 months old when he went. He did get really sick right after staying at the dog resort. We are guessing he picked something up there. But there is nothing that can be done about him coming into contact with so many other dogs. Ultimately he is ok, had recovered will, and his immune system is stronger now because of it.

I'm so happy I found the dog resort in SoDo! Our rescue dog is always so happy to come here and play hard with his furry friends while we're at work. Our dog has trust issues with people, but when he is at the dog resort, he is so happy and comfortable with the handlers there. The dogs get to run free in a huge area with indoor and outdoor space so they can go potty. The staff are super friendly and always very helpful when I have questions in person or on the phone and email. We also board our dog here when we travel, and we found out after the first time that he doesn't like to stay in a kennel at night, so he has the option now when he boards there to stay in the kennel free area. Whether coming home from daycare or boarding, he always has a big smile on his face and is happily exhausted from so much play time with other doggies. Highly recommend purchasing the packages when they go on sale! Other services include grooming, and when your dog stays for 5 days, he gets a bath before coming home. Last thing - a lot of Seattle area doggy daycares have limited hours for drop off and pick up. The dog resort in SoDo allows drop off as early as 5:30 a.m. and pick up as late as 7:30 p.m. This place is great and I can't recommend it enough!

I am absolutely in love with this place. I was looking for a place to have my fur baby to go to daycare because of my new job took me out of the house for most of the day and I felt terrible for having to leave him at home all day, so I googled doggy daycare and a few options came up and I read about each one. When I read the one about The Dog Resort I was so pleasantly surprised and then I looked at some reviews and it was clear that most people felt the same so I went on their website and made an account which was so super easy to do, I called the dog resort and spoke with one of the receptionists and she was so helpful and knowledgeable about every question I had and believe me I had quite a few, I then made a trial day daycare appointment, which the require before a full day or boarding just to make sure that the pet is comfortable I The environment. And I brought him in and even though I'm not allowed to tour the facility because of liability reasons and also because it is a free roaming facility I felt so comfortable that my little guy was going to be safe. When I came to pick him up they had sent me what they call a report card of what he did all day and how he was with the other dogs it included pictures of him and of the facility that I was not able to see so that was so great of them. The staff really loves what they do you can tell that the dogs really do come first here and that is awesome it's not just about the bottom line with them. I would absolutely advice anyone looking for a daycare or boarding situation to come here and they also provide all types of grooming from baths to nail trims, and they provide at an additional cost the Bordatella vaccine as well as the DHPP vaccine which cover kennel cough and distemper and parvo. These people really do k ow what they are doing I give the 10 🌟 and recommend them to everyone.

We have a Rottie(-mix?) that we rescued as a 5 y/o and even after a few years of stability and training with us, she still has some reactivity issues. The Dog Resort (both the former Lake City location and Sodo) has been a godsend because they do so well with Jojo and she really seems to enjoy her time there. I don't know how they do it (we have to use drugs on her when we try) but they are even able to cut her nails! I recommend this place to everyone who has dogs with some rough histories or challenging personalities.

We had our pup in daycare a few times and bordered her twice at the Lake City site. Great staff and took good care of her. Trying out the Sodo location at the end of Sept (because of the fire at Lake City). Hope it's the same. Can't wait until they re-open Lake City! Update: Our sweet pup did well at this location and staff was warm, friendly and attentive to Millie. And they're right on our way to the airport; so, it was a very good experience for her and for us.
