I took my cat, Mr. Mojito, here to establish care and get his annual check up. The front desk staff were so kind and welcoming to him and myself. My cat has a lot of fear going to the vet and typically does not do well with being touched below his neck. However, Dr. Galloway and his assistant were so gentle with him he didn’t even make a peep during his exam or vaccines. It was an overall great experience for my cat and I am so grateful to have found a new veterinarian for him. Highly recommend!
Am hoping to find a fear-free clinic after an underwhelming experience at LUVC. Some clinic staff present as super stressed and burnt out - which I am understanding of as a healthcare worker myself. Am writing this review bc the clinic has been providing me with Sentinel for about the last five years, and doing annual well visits with my pets. When I asked for a refill today for their heart worm medicine, I was told they haven’t had a blood test since 2019 and need a yearly test for this. I feel like this should have come up in a visit over the years - I didn’t know to ask for this! Also, the default for giving treats is not “open hand” and they seem consistently surprised that some rescue dogs don’t take treats softly. my reactive dog consistently has a scary experience here. I like the female-presenting vets but am going to try to transfer.
We have been clients of this clinic for years and always happy but I have been waiting 6 days for the doctor to call me with my cat’s test results. I have called them 4 times and asked for the results but no one cares. In fact Miles the office manager rudely dismissed my issue and gave me an attitude for leaving this review. This is not acceptable. I shouldn’t have to wait this long to find out if my cat has cancer or not. I am so frustrated and disappointed in LUVC and feel completely helpless. I am 100% done with them.
We’re new to the area and picked this vet as they were nearby in SLU. They were able to book everything online and even have an app. The staff and vet were incredibly sweet with our senior cat who was a little shaken up to be there. There did some blood work and called same day to discuss the results. They were amazing and I will definitely be going back.
We are thankful for the kind and supportive staff at LUV. They provide multiple options when a problem arises and will give us their opinion as if Kora was their dog. Hydrotherapy has helped Kora recover at a much faster pace, which makes and and her happy. She has started to really enjoy the water treadmill, she loves working until she is tired.
This place is an absolute joke as an employee. I got sick and had health problems. Instead of continuing to call out, I let Miles know that I would not be able to work there anymore because I know they needed someone to be dependable and with someone that’s vomiting 20 to 30 times a day that was not feasible for me to go in and work. They sent me my check. I let them know. Hey, I did work an hour this day that I didn’t get to put on the time clock, and then it was will you have to pay for postage or you can come and pick it up when I live an hour away. They do not care about you. They have an attitude when they’re texting you and none of the staff knows what they’re doing. It is a complete mess behind the scenes.
