Dr. Linfante began practicing veterinary medicine in 2006 and has been practicing in the Charlotte area since 2009. As your local family veterinarian, we want your pet to be part of our family.

This vet has been such a blessing to my family. My first experience here was a little over a year ago. I was taking our dogs to a different vet at the time. My dog started having seizures and I was halfway to his vet when I realized that it was Wednesday, and they were closed. So I quickly googled the closest place and ended up taking him to West Ballantyne Animal Hospital. When I showed up, the woman who greeted me said they really weren't supposed to take patients who weren't in their system, but seeing that he was having a seizure in front of her, they took him in anyway. They were so caring and helpful, after getting him stable they recommended what my next steps should be. About a day or two later they were calling me and making sure he was doing okay and we weren't even their patients. So when we decided to switch vets, I of course thought of the place that took such good care of my baby. Dr. Linfante is an angel. The first visit was absolute chaos. I had my 10 month old son and 4 year old daughter with me. My son was over it immediately and was crying nonstop. Instead of getting impatient or annoyed the doctor and staff were so unbelievably accommodating. He left the room a couple times to bring my kids toys, and snacks. He repeated himself as many times as I needed because I was so overwhelmed. Not to mention how much care he has given our dog. The old vet I was taking him to mentioned nothing about any issues with his teeth, but upon the first visit with Dr. Linfante, he found severe dental disease and was so informative, respectful, and professional. I am eternally grateful. He has taken such good care of all of my babies, I cannot recommend enough.

I took two of my French Bulldogs to West Ballantyne for over a year. They seemed to be fine until they suddenly sent us their medical records and sent us a letter saying Goodluck and that we aren't a good fit. No explanation or courtesy call explaining why my dogs can't be cared for there anymore. The only thing I can think of is that my oldest had an ear infection, which is very common for him. They wanted to run a cytology test, and we refused it because this is a very common issue and the test always comes back with part bacteria and part fungus and it's the same medication he needs. I'm guessing that us refusing the test upset someone. We then moved, and now chewy needs a new Rx for my dog's rx food. I sent them an email requesting an rx since this is the only way my dog can get his food or else he gets crystals in his bladder. The place where I got his recent vaccines is not open every day. After they got my email pleaing for help, West Ballantyne emailed back telling us to ask our new vet.

We were very happy with Dr, Linfante & his friendly staff. He took his time & explained things without making us feel rushed. He genuinely cares about his furry patients & it shows. We will definitely be using them as our new Vet! 🐕🦺🐾❤️

Dr. Linfante is a knowledgeable vet who works with patients to come up with treatment plans that optimizes your pets health, but also works with the owners to keep the cost down by not ordering frivolous tests. I truly believe the team here genuinely cares about their clients. The front office staff is also stellar! They are so nice when you walk in and also make getting an appointment a breeze.

It is always a pleasure taking my pet to see Dr. Linfante! He’s very caring and concern about the pets. Staff members are awesome. Friendly atmosphere and they always makes you feel welcome and at home. If there was a 10 score I’ll definitely rate them 10!!!!
