My fur baby Max had to be put down due to being very sick. The vet tech and doctor were by our sides through the whole process. They talked us through everything. They gave us as much time as we needed saying goodbye and holding him after his passing. The room they have to have the last moment with your fur baby is very calming, quiet, comfortable as if you are sitting in beautiful livingroom. Honestly makes you forget where you are for few minutes when you are with your fur baby. They even take care of you after everything as well. We got the paw print and they sent a piece of his fur too. They sent a card telling us they were thinking of us and their condolences. This is the place to be for yearly check ups. When your baby is sick or injury. Or when you have to deal with the hard part of your fur baby's life. They truly care for your pet and is willing to talk you through all options and help you understand everything. Thank you so much for taking care my baby.
We have been clinic patrons for 15 years. The doctors and staff are friendly, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. The facility is pristine (and cute). When we had to make end-of-life decisions for our pets, Dr. Wehler and the kind staff treated us and our pets with compassion. They will always put the well-being of your animals first. You won't find better care anywhere else.
I'm impartial, but I have brought all 6 of mine and 1 of my sister-in-laws pets here over 20 years. They treat you like your family because they understand that your pets are your family. In the best of times and, of course, the worst of times, they truly are compassionate and humane.
I've been going here for about a decade, and they are the absolute best! Wonderful, caring staff, with a beautiful new facility. The best part is, they keep a few times open for emergencies, so we save a $1000-just-to-start trip to the animal hospital if there's an issue that can't wait, though you can usually get in within a week anyway. They also saved us a bunch of money when we took our dog to a specialist for a cancerous growth in his leg. He needed surgery, and we were just getting the blood work done at Plymouth Road because it was much more affordable. While there, they mentioned that since it was just a simple amputation, they could do it there, and saved us a couple grand, if I recall about half the price.
I’ve been going to PRAC my whole life. It started with my childhood pets and now I have my own that I send there. I just had my cat of 15.5 years put down. It was the hardest decision of my life. I tired to let her pass naturally over the weekend but that didn’t happen. I called Monday morning and they were able to get me in immediately. Their new facility offers a separate entrance that leads into a private room that is set up for comfort. Dr. Cannady was so supportive and reassured me I was making the right decision. Her calm presence and reassurance guided me through what was so hard. I then received a personal card from her today with my Tootties nose and paw print included. It’s so special and personal to me. Our pets are more than pets. They’re our family. PRAC treats your beloved pets and you like family. My heartbreaks were theirs. Best Vet ever.
They seemed to care so much for my friends dog when we went there. I actually recently got a hedgehog 🦔 & adopted 2 cats🐈 🐈⬛ & this is where I'm going to take them when they need a vet. It's actually just down the road from where I live. 😊
