Meowza is a cat boutique that is non profit and associated with the animal humane society. They rescue many cats all ages from destruction and try really hard to find safe homes for them. If you look through the photos in this post, you will see that many of these cats are fur babies. If you have room in your home, please adopt a kitty. Cats are loving and friendly animals that make great pets.❤️ The cat boutique is located inside the Dayton Mall.

I adopted my sweet little calico kitten here, and the process was very easy. The lady working there was very helpful. The only issue I had was after I had taken her home, I received a call that she was supposed to be on some medicine, that had not been sent home with me, but I was told to go to the Humane Society to pick it up. That could have gone a little smoother, but overall I’m very happy that I adopted from them. The cost was very low, and she had already been spayed and had all of her shots!

Tried asking about adoption and the lady was very rude she looked me up and down asked my age . When I said 21 she then proceeded to again look at me funny and said in a snarky attitude “umm do you have a job”? Like why is that acceptable obviously if I didn’t have a job I wouldn’t be interested in adopting . Yea I was not filling out that form anymore after that . Definitely don’t recommend if you’re younger it’s a shame because those cats deserve homes . Also said she cant get any out if I don’t get approved or fill out the form like how would I know I wanted to adopt that cat if I don’t see if we mesh well together? Sounds like she was just being a judgmental karen

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They have a space called the bonding room to give you an opportunity to make a connection with the cats to determine if you want to go home with them...or rather if they want to go home with you. The fee to adopt is minimal, slightly more for kittens than adult cats. They are affiliated with the Humane Society so you can consider these rescues. I had a wonderful experience and came home with great companion.

My husband and I got our first cat Parker from Meowza back in October 2019. He immediately fit in with us so well and he is such a great cat. However he has separation anxiety and hates being alone. So we finally gave in and got him a kitten from Meowza just a week ago. They are now inseparable and we definitely see an improvement with Parker’s anxiety. The overall experience with Meowza on both vists were wonderful. When we come in on our second visit, Leslie was so sweet and gave great advise on getting a second cat. She was a great help on finding the perfect furry friend for Parker. You can clearly see how much the staff at Meowza cares for the cats and how willing they are to find the perfect homes for them. We are so happy with our fur babies: Parker James & Hazel Mae ❤️
