I visited the cat house and was amazed at how many awesome and adorable cats they had! You can tell that the volunteers truly care about giving the cats the best lives possible. I highly encourage anyone to support this organization and adopt from here! I’m so in love with the cat they helped me adopt! Edit: I ended up adopting another cat from them a month later and I appreciated all the information they gave me about his personality. He’s adjusted so well to my home and keeps my other cat company. I had another great experience adopting from them!
I have reached out several times in different forms of communication and haven't heard back on any of it. Then I made a post on their Facebook olympia cat rescue group and they denied it. I have 3 kittens that were found on the side of the road and I don't mind fostering them until forever homes are found as I know most rescues are full, but I was trying to find resources or a rescue to have them fixed and vaccinated and help finding homes. They have no care to do their job and lots of people have made it clear they don't even answer phones and they have very poor attitudes and communication skills. They also lost a cat right after surgery because they put them in an unstable crate and it broke while they were outside and the poor cat ran out of fear and was never found. They don't seem interested in doing their job and doesn't seem like their hearts are in the right place as they are perfectly fine constantly ignoring people and not even willing to guide them to resources to find help for cats.
My husband and I adopted our kitten here in 2022 and it was a wonderful experience. We had recently lost our very senior girl, but wanted to give another shelter cat a new home since we had the means. Feline Friends worked with us to find a healthy, young gent who would mesh well with the two female cats we already had at home, and provided us with all the guides and tips to integrating him. Additionally, all the medical records were there when we picked him up, as well as any other information we would need in our future with him. This team is doing amazing work, and we are so happy to have been able to adopt from them. If we ever find ourselves with the means and space for another feline friend, we will be checking in here!
We adopted our 3rd cat from Feline Friends. Its taken a good long while to get her and our other 2 cats used to each other. Make sure to follow the guidelines the staff give you for introduction of cats, the guidelines were very helpful.
My wife and I adopted these two in 2017. Feline Friends nursed Mehitabel back from near death and then she and Dash waited 6 months to find a home. It has been a magical life since then for all 4 of us. Thank you Feline Friends!
I was actually here on September 5th but this is my fourth adoption visit in 10 and a half years. I have nothing but good things to say about Feline Friends and their staff. During the pandemic it has changed how we do everything and that takes a toll on everyone even myself. But at the end of the day it's the cats and also any animals that matter that we have to put them at the forefront and remember that we're here to rescue and save them when no one else will. And for that Feline Friends will always be the first place that I look towards when it's time for me to bring another cat to my forever home and I think the powers that be that Jo and her crew are here and doing what they do and I love each and every one of them including all of the cats that I look at weekly. Last week I adopted Nicki, a 12-year-old senior female who had lost her previous owner and had been unwanted over the years but her photo called out to me and when I met her that Saturday in person I knew she was coming home. Thank you FF. Thank you
