Originally was going to the Bountiful location but was transferred to this location because they had the soonest opening. My dog injured her paw and need sutures. Their approach is different from other vets we've been to because they have you drop off your dog between 7-10am. Then the vet checks your pup out and calls you with their plan of treatment. They then text you an estimate. The price was reasonable. I also got her up to date on her shots which once again reasonablly priced. I really appreciated that the vet calls and updates you on how the procedure went and the course of action. Once I picked her up we went over medication, treatment and scheduled a follow up. Overall decent experience would recommend 👌 front desk girls were helpful as well!
Absolutely love this place. My first time. Easy to schedule appointment. Super friendly staff. They have a couch for me and puppy. No metal table to intimidate. Doctor sits on floor and visits with you while getting to know your baby. Love this place. Bandana for bonus
Nice facility and friendly staff, but it’s operated like a used car dealership. They are more focused on finding ways to make the maximum profit possible, and your pets health is only important when they are pushing you to spend a lot of money. I took my cat in recently after he was scratching his ears excessively. I have not taken him to a vet for a few years so I needed to find a new one. I dropped him off for his morning appointment, and notified them I was out of work and just needed to make sure there wasn’t a problem. Then around noon I got a phone call notifying me that he tested negative for everything, which was good and to do the standard preventative vaccines was going to cost about $450!!!! WOW!!! Pretty expensive for a cat that i found living in my old dumpster. They had no problem going into high pressure mode when I declined, going so far as to suggest I was breaking the law if I didn’t get the basic vaccine package done right away. At that point it was very hard to believe anything they told me. It’s too bad they are very close to my house, and it would be really nice to have a vet that I trusted located near me.
We had a small altercation with a friends dog and couldn’t find a vet close to us that was available to get our guy in to have his bite looked at. I started to look outside of our area and animal care center was able to squeeze us in in between surgeries. The staff was so kind and helpful. They got him on a round of antibiotics and checked up on him over the phone the next day. The follow up appointment was quick and they were respectful. Would recommend. We’ve officially transferred from our old vet.
They treated my new friend Smoke so, SO well for his first vet appointment 😁 I've never had a cat come back from a vet so clearly happy and at ease! I'm grateful to them for making it a positive experience for him! The staff played with him and one of them even gave him a toy she made on her off time 😁 I had just called hoping they would be willing to confirm his sex and neuter status, not expecting to find a vet willing to do an exam/shots/microchipping on the same day! So glad to have it all taken care of so quickly!(was able to drop him off in the morning and pick him up early afternoon) They will be the first vets I call next time I need veterinary care in the SLC area 😺
Baldwin had his first little puppy visit! I love how they get on the floor with him and give him some play time with a thorough exam. I've been coming to this veterinarian's office and they are AMAZING!!
