I had a great experience coming and finding the pet I felt was best for me and my family. Found that the cat didn’t like dogs, tried our best to allow them to get comfortable and adjust. In the end didn’t work out. Wanted the cat to have a home that would work so we brought her back. My only complaint and disgust with my experience was when explaining this another person came up that worked there and the lady at the front counter turned to her and condescendingly told her that the cat was back and talked about me and the experience putting it that I’m the bad person and stuff. Was very disrespectful. Nobody should be shamed for trying to help an animal find the correct forever home. Someone please come and adopt Fae she is a beautiful cat that loves to cuddle and scratches!
Very racist staff. They wouldn't let my friend adopt her dog back. So she had to call me and my husband (her white friends) to try and adopt her dog. they were super helpful to me and my husband. Yet staff wouldn't even give my friend the time of day! They told us that the dog had already been adopted. They didn't even tell her or anything.. they did tell us that they get new puppies all the time and to check back in the nicest way... They were so nice to us. But, they wouldn't even give our friend the time of day just because she's black!! What the heck!! She's such a sweet, beautiful young woman who has a full-time job working at a homeless shelter for underprivileged families. She's one of the nicest girls I've met, and this animal shelter refused to talk to her! Let alone allow her to adopt HER dog back. I CAN NOT believe this type of racism is still going on today!!!!! I'm beyond appalled by the lack of courtesy, blatant racism, and just the overall lack of human decency by the staff and security officer.
Everything was out line even the heavy set front desk person who's supposed to assist you. She was rude and saw me waiting in line and knew I was first before three other people walked in. Maybe she was on a power trip or low sugar but snapping at people like that should get you suspended or fired when working with the public. First of all, I had my daughter with me and she had no skills but I told her she was wrong and rolled her eyes in chubby face. Thankfully her co-worker had more sense on how to work with the public, so KUDOS. When I first got there I had every intention of just getting one kitten but life changes.
I went to the animal shelter today I am looking for a dog especially come May and they had some many beautiful dogs and very beautiful pit bulls I hope I find the right dog for me here soon ♥️♥️
Thank you for your excellent care for Diamond. She has met the rest of the family and everyone is very happy. She is the smartest family member we have. She is doing well and now owns her part of the house. Your help during our adoption today (2/17/24) was wonderful. You are great people! Thank you!
My friend found some stray kitties so we brought them in. Had to wait for a bit but everyone there 100% cares about all animals and will absolutely help if they can. Wonderful humans here. Go find your furever pet!! They all need a home!
