Dr. Paul was so kind. My dog was severely abused by his previous owners. Paul was very patient and kind. It's the 1st veterinarian he's been to that he didn't snap or try to bite. He sensed Paul was not going to hurt him. You guys are the best! 🤗 I've been trying to get in touch for updates to my dog's vaccines. What do I need to do?

Great Doctor! Dr. Aldridge takes care of all 3 of our furry pups. He explains everything to you and he is very good with our animals! Don't think I would trust our pets with just any vet's!

October 2021, I needed my 18 year granny cat seen and make sure she was at the end of her life. Dr Aldridge and his wife came in just to help us. I can tell you how comforting it was to have my regular vet assess my sweet Shasta. Their compassion and concern for the well being of our fur baby and for us is something I haven’t seen in a long time. Now we have two new nearly 6 month old fur babies and Dr Aldridge will be taking care of them. Best vet I’ve ever had for my fur babies ever.

Doctor Aldridge is the most amazing veterinarian, very. Compassionate, caring, & always there to lend advice as well.

I've used Dr. Aldridge and Carla for grooming for more years than I can count. They are the best of the best!! They no longer offer grooming services because Carla passed away. Her loss is a TREMENDOUS loss in an abundance of ways!! I will, however continue to utilize and strongly recommend Dr. PAUL's veterinary services at Mingo Road Veterinary Hospital.

person at the front desk, a nice older lady, also did the exam room sterilization. I assume this building pre-dates the indoor smoking bans based on how visibly aged/yellowed everything was. Once I was shown to the exam room, I nearly walked out because of how dingy and poorly-lit it was - and there was a tool on the counter with an especially filthy-looking handle that really stood out to me. I needed medicated eyedrops for my dog & I needed them that day, though, so I stuck around. The vet himself is an older man with a veteran-smoker's gravelly voice that can be difficult to understand. He is a very kind, gentle, and soft-spoken man as far as I can tell from the interactions we had. He had good insights and looked for problems other vets had not (my dog has a recurring eye infection, and he suggested that it's likely a tear duct issue since it only affects one eye. He also checked for eye damage using a Fluorescein test, which other vets had not thought to do.) Continuing the 70s theme, the vet typed out the prescription label on what sounded like a typewriter. My dog had an allergic reaction to the Fluorescein that made her eye swell up a bit, but that's not his fault & I'm glad he checked. Overall, my experience was positive and I am glad I didn't just walk out. The office desperately needs better lighting & to update / clean up the interior a bit, but I understand that individual veterinarians usually work with a shoestring budget. Also, with Marina Animal Clinic just north, and Southern Agriculture almost immediately to the south, I imagine they are in tight enough competition with nearby animal care providers that updating the interior is just a budgetary non-starter.
