One of the best experiences I’ve had at any cafe in my life. Found it by chance because the place I always would go to was closed. The staff was so kind and accommodating and the cafe is so unique. Even though we couldn’t go inside with the cats because it was reserved up due to Valentines Day, we had an amazing time watching them through the glass. The menu is unbelievable. Standard coffee/ espresso drinks made with the best quality but also unique things for people with a sweet tooth and also, the option for unsweetened ceremonial matcha- which is something that I was excited about because you don’t see that often with the option to get it in the form of a latte. Cute things to buy from local artists. I had to leave with a succulent planter which my friend and I decided was my personality the most. Someone was training a cat to sit at a post right by our table and put the cutest flower hat on it. I thought that was a kind gesture because we couldn’t go inside. Nothing but pure joy from our experience. The cats are treated with such care it’s so wonderful to see. You could tell this cat was completely unfazed by the hat and it was on loosely and never tried to take it off for at least an hour that it sat by us and just chilled.
I came here for a Crafting With Cats event. All staff were incredibly nice and helpful. The cafe itself is very nice and clean, and the food was good too. I got a brownie and an affogato with vanilla ice cream. I loved the drink. The brownie was decent, but I wouldn't personally order it again through no fault of the cafe itself, just personal preference. The cats were so cute and fun to play with and watch! The staff in the cat area were very well informed about the cats and very helpful with offering suggestions on how to interact with them.
I am on the cusp, there was good and bad. When you first walk in the Cafe it is very small and crowed, I was expecting a more quiet environment honestly. It was very loud. The group of people that had the same time slots as our party was a total of 10 people including my group of 4. We were hoping for a more personal experience with the cats. I completely expected a smell…….but not to the degree it actually smelled of cat urine. It was very pungent. It was like a brick wall hitting you in the face when you walked in the cat area. If I’m being honest I gagged until I got used to the smell. The actual area to interact with the cats was quite clean and they had games for customers to play and lots of toys for the cats and lots of places for the cats to hang out and hide. The design of the cat room was super neat. With shelves and ceiling fixtures all of which the cats could get to. The books on the tables made my group giggle. They were quite funny. It’s very awesome this establish is doing so much for these cats. It’s a great idea and concept. The staff were nice and very quick to serve and the price for food beverages were good. And the snacks and coffee were tasty too. They previously advises us to use caution when interacting with the cats but sadly there was only one cat out of all 15 that let people actually pet it and it was a blind cat. The cats that we’re there this time seemed nervous, aggressive & scared. Most of them hissed, swatted and scratched myself or some one in our party. The back room with the litter boxes could stand to be attended to and cleaned. There was also a cat that kept eating plastic and the worker knew and took it away from the cat but later didn’t seem to mind he was eating it again. I’m pretty sure is dangerous for a cat to eat plastic. There were 2 cats that were more friendly then the rest but it was short lived after about 20 minutes and they began aggressive. I’m sure it’s a struggle for these cats to be around other cats and people they are unfamiliar with. And tempers can flair. I feel like maybe some of the cats were more stressed out and it probably was not the best atmosphere for them for the cats and customers safety. Over all it was a decent experience. Thank you for taking in these cats and trying to rehome them to give them a better chance at life and home of there own.
This place was so cute!! I loved that they focus on kitties that are having a hard time finding a home, and the staff was very kind and social. A great stop!
Such an amazing experience! Please come check them out and support these wonderful kitties! They also have an amazing website with all the cats profiles:)
My cat-loving daughter (age 6) and I had a blast at the cafe! We opted for the extended session, which yes, was a little pricey, but definitely the right choice for us! (We know it funds a good cause!). We got there early and ordered drinks and a brownie, which we took inside with us. Eleanor was the lounge attendant in the room and was a DELIGHT. She was helpful and silly; she listened and answered EVERY question my chatty kiddo asked her. It was such a wonderful experience to play and love on cats and kittens- we will be back again and bringing more friends!
