Description Emerald Animal Hospital has been providing compassionate veterinary care to the Cleveland area since 1976. As a full-service hospital, we offer high quality medicine and surgery. Our in-house laboratory allows for quick analysis of blood and urine samples. All of our X-rays are reviewed by board-certified veterinary radiologists. Our doctors and registered veterinary technicians strive to obtain a complete patient history and a thorough physical examination. We take the time to listen and explain our findings in detail. We will discuss the best care options for each individual pet and are happy to answer any questions that may arise.

This family lost our old man jax 16 years old and I am glad they were there to help us through a tough time with care and compassion. Thank you for also being affordable and kind. Would tell anyone to come here to say goodbye to their loved one.

Very kind and caring staff. Love that I can text when I need refills for my pups. Open until six pm which is also great for picking prescriptions up after work. Also have Saturday hours. Been taking our pups here for 14 years. Added: Today we just had to let our beautiful shepherd Harley pass on. The staff and Dr. Lindsay were so kind, wonderful, and patient with all my questions over the last month. They provided our shepherd treats and were so gentle with her and us at the end of her life. We are very grateful and appreciate them for everything they have done for our dogs and us.

Thank you Valerie for making my 19-year-old cat, Solstice, feel so great and healthy with his lion cut. He is so happy that the mats have been taken off!! He looks great and is resting next to me right now!

CAUTION We had a vet appointment yesterday for our kitty Tiger. He had been sneezing a lot, prior upper respiratory infections. The tech was quite abusive with him. She grabbed the back of his neck, and yanked him out of the pet carrier, weighed him, and shoved him back in. Tiger was traumatized! When the vet came in, she tried to give him a treat. He wouldn't come out. My husband, said if you slightly tip the carrier, he'll come out. Other tech's have done this before. The vet insisted, that we take the carrier apart. My husband said no. The vet yelled and him . She didn't want to deal with an aggressive cat! Tiger is not aggressive! She said to leave, and come back another time, and stormed out of the room ! No treatment provided. She acted quite UNHINGED! We have never experienced anything like this before! I can't believe the APl recommend this place?? We will NEVER GO BACK!!! They called this morning to discuss the matter. My husband said to email Tiger's vet records. Now we have to find another place.
