Description Our mission is to provide quality after hours veterinary urgent care to Savannah and the surrounding areas. We are locally owned and promise to always treat pets, pet parents, and collegues with respect. We value communication and strive to communicate clearly and responsively with pet owners and they’re veterinarians. Most after-hour emergencies do not require a 24/7 specialty hospital. In the event that your animal needs attention from a specialist, we will go over all the treatment options available and answer any questions you may have.

As much as it pains me to right this review due to us having to put our little Peanut down, I feel the need to thank the ladies that we had the pleasure to get assistance from: Dr. Goldberg and her tech, Abby. These 2 ladies were absolute sweethearts in the time of our deep despair. Our precious boy, Peanut, had to be put down suddenly due to a severe seizure. Dr. Goldberg expressed how it may have been a possible brain tumor but due to Peanut’s age (13 years old) it was in Peanut’s best interest to be sent to Heaven to be free of his pain. They handled our tears and sorrow with the upmost respect and even told us how Peanut was just the sweetest boy. To Dr. Goldberg, thank you so much for treating Peanut with love and respect. Thank you for being compassionate and comforting to us. Thank you for being a light when we were in such a dark place that afternoon. To Abby, thank you for keeping the room light even through Peanut’s passing. Thank you for going out your way to make a few gifts for us: ink and clay paw prints, which you did beautifully by the way. We could not have asked for Peanut to be put to rest in a better way. I thought I’d share some photos of our precious boy when he was in good health. I would like to remember him that way. And last but not least, to our Peanut, we will miss you forever and until we meet again, rest in heavenly peace buddy.

My family and I cannot express enough gratitude to Dr. Goldberg and the team at Urgent Pet Care of Savannah. When our precious puppy, Rosedbud, fell ill with parvo, we were devastated. However, Dr. Goldberg's expertise and professionalism guided us through the most challenging time. Thanks to Dr. Goldberg's dedication and expertise, Rosedbud made a remarkable recovery and is now turning 1 tomorrow. We are beyond grateful for the exceptional care she received at Urgent Pet Care of Savannah. These ladies were some of the most caring animal lovers we have seen at a vet clinic. Our cat was having urinary issues. Although there was a bit of a wait, which they were very honest about it up front, these ladies were rockstars. Very knowledgeable and thorough. The vet came in and had amazing bed side manner, so friendly and explained everything. I would recommend this place for sure! We left with peace of mind, knowing he was in the best care, and some antibiotics for our Ashur.

Dr. Goldberg and all staff here are amazing! I’m so grateful that they were open on a holiday weekend/Saturday when my dog was rough housing with our other dog in the yard and got this gash on her muzzle. The staff was very caring and the clinic was pretty busy as other emergencies were coming in. I was impressed with Dr. Goldberg’s knowledge and experience to also check for a scratch on her eye which there was. He also made appropriate considerations to sedate our dog and do bloodwork ahead of time considering her older age (6 years old). All of the considerations and questions asked before the procedure let me know that my dog was in great hands with Dr. G. They were very transparent with pricing and really wasn’t very expensive at all for all of the treatment they did. Daisy did great. They removed extra skin and cleaned the wound very well as it was likely a dog bite. Sutures look great. Really nice cone and post-op meds/instructions. Also they trimmed our dogs nails while she was sedated just to make sure she doesn’t scratch anything! & hydrated her as her bloodwork showed she was slightly dehydrated. Really world class care. I got a copy of the lab results to my email. I’m so impressed with this clinic as I was worried because I’ve never met this veterinarian before. I’ll definitely be back for any other urgent vet needs. Thank you Dr. G and all staff ❤️🐶

The staff in this busy office are the most caring and compassionate group of people I’ve come across in quite some time. They made the process of putting my baby down as comfortable as they could and I am forever grateful ❤️ Thank you so much Dr. Goldburg, Taylor & all of the very sweet girls on this staff for caring for my pup Mia in her final moments. You all are very much appreciated and fantastic at what you do. Blessings!

I absolutely loved my experience here!!! Definitely a 10/10. My female Yorkie was have trouble passing her last puppy who unfortunately passed away. This was her very first litter and my husband and I got worried when the laboring process started to take longer than expected. We called some friends who are expert Yorkie breeders. They came over immediately and tried everything before we reached out to Urgent Pet Care. We explained everything over the phone and they prompted us to come in immediately!! Once we arrived, the staff was very friendly and knew exactly who we were once we arrived. They rushed Lexi into the back an started her on fluids. The vet nurse and doctor were both very friendly, professional and understanding of our situation. They took very good care of Lexi and her new born pups who were also with her, as we waited for updates. Once everything was done, the doctor spoke with us and seemed very sympathetic about the situation. We were able to see the late puppy before taking Lexi and her puppies home. I highly recommend this facility, and will definitely use them again in the future if we have to🐾
