I found 4 very young kittens. Called several places. No one called back. Within 24 hours I received a call from Patty..wow she was on it. She found a foster home for them. I just need to get them weaned and then they will then have a chance to find a permanent home. She gave me so much information that I was on overload. Hopefully, they will be ready for the other foster dad in a few weeks. You could tell that she was meant to rescue animals! Lots of ❤️ to give. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
My husband and I have had the pleasure of fostering animals from One Love, and we are incredibly impressed by their thorough vetting process as well as their attention to detail. Any concerns are quickly and swiftly addressed. They main organizers are always available with resources needed to make our job easier. While the adoption process may seem challenging for some families, we can confidently say that this organization prioritizes the well-being of their animals above all else. Many of the animals in their care have had difficult pasts and require special families who can meet their unique needs. Furthermore, One Love is entirely volunteer-run, and there is no central building where potential adopters can meet different animals. Instead, the animals are placed in loving foster homes throughout our area. While this can make scheduling a bit more challenging, it also means that each animal receives personalized care and attention from their foster family. Overall, we have nothing but positive things to say about our experience with One Love and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to add a furry friend to their family or looking to help our community by fostering an animal.
One Love Animal Rescue -Had I taken the time to read the negative comments prior, as I did to send documents multiple times, making trips one week only meeting the kitten due to poor communication and scheduling and also the money our daughter invested with her savings along with our help into expanding our fur family, we wouldn't have came home with an empty crate. I could have saved my 13-year-old daughter and my fur baby of 7 years from a lot of emotional torture this past Tuesday. I urge anyone to heed with caution before considering adoption with this agency because they will judge your family and your animal(due to breed or what they think they are), communication will be fair for the most part until after the fact and if you have a dog and looking to adopt a kitten; they will not follow proper guidelines when introducing the animals. They will expose your animal to multiple cats that you didn’t consent to. They will only look at the interest of their animals and very bluntly voice that. When you clearly state your dissatisfaction and how much your animal was mistreated it is disregarded and they don’t see how they were wrong. Our family that includes our dog was judged and be mindful if you have children who adore animals, some do not know how to speak in front of them especially a crying child and they will have no issue adding insult to injury. Making harsh cruel remarks about your animal they have never spent time with and make breed comparisons to another breed our family has owned and loved and cause your child to cry more. Then suggest she adopt a dog or volunteer at the Petsmart to get her kitty cuddles. After being told her brother was basically bred to be a predator. She declined to volunteer and our 7 year old ChiWeenieJack is not a pure bred pup, he wasn’t purchased and his siblings were an oopsie from a co-worker and his neighbor. Our sweet boy was the last one and runt of the pack. Best dog I’ve ever had too, he’s also ESA certified. As I am disabled. Also see Link with his brother Onyx whom he loves very much! ♥️
As a foster and adopter I highly recommend. Thorough adoption process, which just shows how much they care for and love their pets. Also, excellent at providing with all your foster pet needs.
The process we went through to adopt was very involved, I can 100% say they care about who their dogs go to. They are extremely thorough with all information and very willing to answer any questions you may have. Our puppy is in perfect health and we would absolutely adopt from them again.
My husband and I adopted a dog from One Love about 3 years ago who we love deeply. Our experience with them before was not easy since we had to jump through a lot of hoops but we are thankful to have found our fur baby. A few months ago my neighbor's moved out and left their 2 outdoor cats behind. I have been taking care of them. Unfortunately I am moving and not able to take the outdoor cats with me. I reached out to one love to see if they could take them to help find them homes. I even offered to foster them until they get adopted. I was told no and that they pretty much wouldn't even help me. I was just trying to do the right thing now since humans have failed these babies so many times before. Even if they could not take them under their care I was looking just to be pointed in the right direction of someone who could help me and I got know where. Luckily I have found them homes on my own. I will be going elsewhere the next time I am looking to adopt because even though they say they are all about caring for animals in need I now find that hard to believe and I really have no desire to deal with this rescue anymore.
