We found a baby raccoon while out hiking during the day and could not find where she fell from. Momma was no where around and there was not a nest visible. She was a little more than a week old and exposed on the trail. We scooped her up, found a ranger and were directed to Savannah Wildlife Rescue...called them and got in the car to bring her to them. We were welcomed and felt that we left our new friend in the best care possible. It warms my heart to know they are there to help all beings on this planet. Good luck little "Peaches" and THANK YOU Savannah Wildlife Rescue!!

I cannot express how wonderful these people were. My sister and I saw a bird in the middle of the road at 7:30 pm (they close at 8:00) and we brought our bird over asap just HOPING they might take her or agree to take her later. I walked in in a panic saying “I HAVE A BIRD PLEASE HELP” and they were so quick to take her. They were so sweet and so kind and excited to help. Such kind, wonderful people. I’ll remember that small interaction forever. Thank y’all for loving animals so much and loving people as well.

I found a baby squirrel on the ground after Hurricane Idalia. I assumed he fell out of the tree. I called Savannah Wildlife Rescue and they said they would take him. When I arrived, they were so nice and helpful. They reqlly seem to care alot about the animals. They said he was number 11 that had come in that morning, with another person bringing one in behind me. I wish I could have an update on the little guy, but since there were so many brought in, I don't know if that's possible! Thank you for everything you do for these babies. You are heros!

We have just successfully dropped off a newborn squirrel this afternoon and couldn’t believe our eyes upon entering this facility. Staff immediately took charge of the baby and placed him into a warming box. The spirit and enthusiasm here is amazing. We were encouraged by Jeanne Paddison, the director of Savannah Wildlife Rehab, who responded to our early morning phone call, and without hesitation, urged us to bring in this abandoned baby. We are giving this stellar review for her and the hardworking staff that provide countless hours to rescue wildlife and return to their natural habitat. Great experience! 5 stars!
