Our service dog program is a non-profit set up to assist in obtaining dogs suitable for service dog training. The trainers at The Dog Knowledge are knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. After Bella's training, I notice great improvement with her. She is more obedient and well-behaved.

I found out about TDK by word-of-mouth. I was walking my Bernedoodle puppy around the neighborhood, and as I ran into other dog owners, I was amazed at how many of them had used TDK, and everyone raved about their experience. I had read several dog training books before our puppy came home, tried to do some training on my own, and used another trainer to counsel us---all of which helped get our puppy started with a foundation. But, I don't think I ever could have gotten our puppy to the level of obedience and focus that TDK achieved through their 4 week program. I dropped him off as an incredibly energetic but unruly puppy that was hard to control and was subject to the "zoomies." He returned to me, still energetic and fun, but focused and obedient. My dog is now such a good citizen, both in and outside the home. As a parent, I have work to do to sustain the great work of TDK. But all the stress I felt as a dog parent is gone! I could not be happier with the experience at TDK and would highly recommend them! They are great folks!

My boy, Maxx was very reactive around other dogs. So, I brought him to The Dog Knowledge for the four week training course. I am amazed at how well he behaves, now that he understands the roles and expectations for his behavior. I also took advantage of their at home, training session the week afterwards with Dennis… And having those real life experiences in his environment, where there are a lot of other dogs in my neighborhood was very helpful for both he and I. I definitely recommend taking your dog to the facility for training as they really work with them, as well as with the owner to make our outings, more enjoyable, for both of us!

The Dog Knowledge is top notch training! Your dog will be in great hands with everyone here. The weekly updates help you feel at ease with leaving your pup somewhere for several weeks. She came home wonderful on a leash and confident in commands.
