Very positive experience start to finish. The appointment was easy to make, it was a couple months out but that was okay. The staff was super friendly and my cat was pretty comfortable as well. They did their best to explain everything to me, and make sure my cat was comfortable. The prices were also reasonable, got a wellness exam and two vaccinations for around $200. I would definitely recommend this place and we’re so happy to find a neighborhood vet that we can return to years after year.

I know when a place has hundreds of five star review's it is easy to think that there’s nothing wrong with it. However, I can say we have been a patient here since they opened, and the quality and service has gone down to the point where I barely recognize it anymore. It feels like they’re constantly trying to upsell you or up charge you on something, the tech and receptionist are no longer friendly, they seem exhausted when you ask simple questions just trying to understand what they are doing and why. On top of it all, the last time I visited we had to wait 45 minutes to see the vet, when we heard them socializing out of the room. It’s a bummer when you find a place that you really like but watch the quality go down every year.

This was our first time at Roosevelt Station Vet Care for an annual exam and vaccinations, and the team was so wonderful! The space is clean and neat, welcoming, and friendly. Best of all, they treated my anxious boy with so much patience and expertise. I have a nervous/anxious 8-year-old Klee Kai. In the past, he has had to be given anti-anxiety medications in advance of shots and blood draws because he gets very stressed and will not let people touch him. This was the first time he had shots without so much as a sound and also without any medications!! I was incredibly impressed by the simple and effective techniques the team used to keep him as calm and relaxed as possible through fun sensory distractions. They were attentive of him, and made me not only feel heard, but like they actually cared and were going to take actions to address and propose creative solutions. Overall the best vet experience we have ever had and will definitely be returning!

I just moved to Seattle (arrived Friday September 4th) only to discover that the stress of the move caused my male cat to strain to pee. I noticed this on labor day so had a terrible time calling around to clinics as most were at capacity. Seattle Vetinary Specialist (Bluepearl) was an awful experience and had me thinking I may have to euthanize my cat. They incorrectly told me my cat had urinary blockage and sent me off to another clinic that ended up being at capacity. Roosevelt Station was a breath of fresh air after all of the craziness above. The staff was friendly, understanding, and super caring. I was pleasantly surprised when the doctor called to chat with me about my cats condition and spent 15 minutes on the phone answering my questions, reassuring me, and educating me on male cats and urinary issues. It was absolutely the best experience ever and I have nothing but positive things to say. I may be new to the area, but Roosevelt Station definitely has my vote for recommending others so their fur babies can be taken care of. Thanks again!

I have gone to three different vets since getting my pup and by far this is the most thorough, honest and timely provider you can go to in the Seattle area. When you enter the facility you are greeted and if you’ve been there prior, the employees actually remember your pets name before even telling them! This makes for a special experience for my dog and I am super grateful I found a place Benny(my dog) actually enjoys going to. Each time I bring him in for an exam or to get looked at, he comes out happier and healthier. I really could not ask for a better place to bring my pet to. Thank you all so much!

Avoid if Possible... I believe the number one priority for a vet clinic should be to put the animals well being first, and this clinic chose to put financial gain first instead. I went there once last year, and now that my trust is broken I won't be returning. Like finding a good mechanic, your relationship is built on trust without it there is nothing hence the 1 star. If you're interested in what happened read on: My dog suffers from extreme anxiety. Seemingly small things will make her physically ill. Going to the vet is probably the most anxiety inducing event she encounters. So I try to only go when absolutely necessary. I moved to Seattle from CA and that move made her very sick at first. So I had to see a vet and I chose this vet simply because they had availability and very good reviews. They "prescribed" a dog food (hydrolyzed dog food) that would be good for her sensitive stomach. During my visit the doctor said herself "some people choose to put there dog on this food for life, there is not harm in it, its just very expensive". Money isn't my concern here, so I kept her on the food since her stomach was cured from it. Sure enough, 1 year passes and then they tell me they won't give me the prescription unless I come in for a visit. Prescriptions for dogs is quite silly in most cases, in this case (better quality dog food) its a complete racket. So they want me to come into the office and make my dog sick for a week or two from that visit only to "allow" me to buy the ultra expensive food I already know she needs to have? I explained this directly to them and told them it was unethical and pleaded with them to reconsider, and they did not respond. They did however read the email and decline the "prescription". I'm honestly very disappointed but glad I revealed their true motivation, which is money first. If I didn't say the following I would be willing to bet they reply to this review (instead of my previous two emails) to save face and pretend its a misunderstanding. No matter what they claim now, its not a misunderstanding. It was a choice, and they chose to be unconscionable.
