My senior dog was closing out his time here on earth, but before making the final decision I wanted to see the vet one more time. Dr. Weihl was such a gem at helping me make the right decision for him and the way she handled the whole appointment put me at ease. That's invaluable, in my opinion.

I have not had the best experience with a couple of other vets. My cat does not like being crated or in a car. He has been vomiting lots and his abdomen was very hard and swollen so I was hoping for a vet who could do xrays and labs etc "one stop". So I called Elliott Bay. We saw Dr. Barron, who has beautiful energy and is so gentle and kind. The assistance was terrific also. Dr. Barron examined my cat, and suggested a number of tests to find out the cause - blood work, fluid sample, ultrasound. They gave me all the costs and I okayed the tests. Then - with inclusive results - but clear he needed help, she suggested a more comprehensive ultrasound which might be awhile. So I left my cat there, and went home. Dr. Barron kept me updated by phone as she got more results and was putting the "puzzle" together. She was just terrific. I never felt pressured. When I declined going to the ER so I could see a cardiologist, I asked - "if it's his heart, will the cardiologist prescribe the same meds as you? (yes) if we try the meds first, and they don't work - then we can see if there is something else." Dr. Barron was totally fine with that.

Can't recommend Elliot Bay highly enough! They are absolutely phenomenal with challenging pups, whether it's temperament or health (and our guy has both). Always willing and happy to work with us to come up with an approach that works for us and our pup.

The care we have received over the last year for our Puppy’s first year has been phenomenal. We’ve had our puppy spayed here, vaccinated, dealt with Kennel Cough scares, hotspots, treated for scrapes, infections and everything in between. Our now one year old puppy is always excited to meet the vet Techs and Doctors and we’re so glad she gets the best care from them, with easy appointment availability and urgent care options. It’s additionally great that they’re easily reachable and transparent in their approach/treatment. Also, a shout out to the front desk for being patient while fielding questions over calls. Edit- Edited to add details of our experience over the past year.

Dr. Scire and the entire staff were amazing. I waited with my dogs in the car because they’re not good in unfamiliar places or with other dogs. They came and got me when it was time and we went right into an exam room. Dr. Scire and her assistant were incredibly nice and took their time with my picky dogs. All of my questions were answered and, up until the blood draw, my dogs had a decent time! I highly recommend Elliott Bay Animal Hospital for everyone who loves their fur babies.

They really really care about animals. Dr grossman and David saved my cat. And Nicole has been really helpful to get the info to the doctor. They schedule us an emergency surgery the next day. I really appreciated every one of them thinking about my cat and kept checking in with me. It was really a relief for me to have a vet that is very communicative, helpful, and caring. Thank you again!!!
