I got a little kitten from here, and from the jump I knew he was gonna be a rascal. I got him home and he gets to tusslin with my Rotty, and starts taking him down! He had ol Benny running scared it was crazy to watch because Benny had never seen a cat. Now they’re friends, and they even drink out of the toilet together, mad cute. I’m starting to hear them whispering about me, something about stealing food from me and tax fraud. Gotta sleep with one eye open or those rascals might pull a fast one n shave my head!

If you are trying to rescue an animal other than a dog or cat do not call this place. They will send animal control to euthanize the animal. I didn’t know this and I wanted to put it out there in case anyone else didn’t know.

Thankfully I've never had to use their services, however everyone is so friendly whenever I drop off supplies....paper towels, bleach, dog food or cat food etc.

Pretty good animal shelter for a suburb. Lakewood animal control police are very friendly.
