I don’t typically write reviews but I had to write one for the excellent service we received at this clinic. My cat Sama broke her toe in a horrible accident on Saturday and I rushed her into Urban Animal as it was on of the very few clinics that would take us in on a weekend let alone as a walk in within the proximity. There was a bit of a wait but that was to be expected as we came as an emergency visit. The front staff and the veterinary technicians were very sweet and helpful! They answered any questions I had and took their time with me during our visit. Everything was explained to me by the veterinarian and I wanted to think about it for a few days. We ended up moving forward with a procedure at the clinic that was stressful for both the cat and I but the team was very reassuring throughout the entire process. The drop off/pick up was very quick and efficient, the pricing seemed fair to me and I was sent with a lot of information back home as well as the necessary medication. I also received thorough documentation of everything that happened throughout my visits which I personally really liked. Overall I would recommend them to anyone going in for a routine or emergency visit! P.S. I really liked that they marched the bandage and the ribbon in the collar 💕

I will leave a more detailed review in the coming weeks. Urban Animal saved my cats life, and I couldn't thank them more. My cat needed a PU surgery and they not only fit me in for surgery but have been helping me day and night with the recovery process. My Grimmo thanks you, and you and your staffs will forever be in our hearts.

Little Dog

Excellent service!! My little parson russell terrier got a hold of a strong pain pill this Saturday. I ran to 3 different vets trying to get help and no one was open, even Blue Pearl on Capital Hill. So I see on google that Urban on Capital Hill is open. I frantically drove there, ran in, explained the situation they took her in immediately and assessed the situation. They had me call animal poison center give my info, then the Vet at Urban called them back had a conversation about best way to proceed, and then helped my dog. They are so kind, and helpful. There were six customers waiting, with pets, but seeing my situation, they took care of my dog first, no waiting. If you have an emergency I would not hesitate to go there. My dog is so important to me, and I am a true believer in Urban!

Urban Animal is absolutely fantastic. They’ve been the primary vet for my cat and two dogs for almost 9 years now. I have always felt listened to. They take care of my dogs with such love and care, and have made notes in their file with the tiniest little details about them that reflect how seriously they take their jobs, and just how amazing the staff is. Also—my dog has needed two surgeries so far (one which they performed, and another where they gave me a referral to a specialist) and they have been absolutely understanding and wonderful working with me and helping me to understand the expected costs. I am so grateful for the incredible staff at Urban Animal every single time I’m there and recommend them to every local pet owner. Thank you so much for doing what you do!

This is # 1, best veterinarian clinic to go to. Staff is awesome. They are truly here for your animals. I give them 100% because without them I would have the healthy girl's in my life.

Honestly this place made me feel like I had no options for cat to receive medical treatment. That the only option at the end of the day was to surrender my pet to them. Ended up taking my cat to get surgery else where, where they were willing to work with us. We will never be returning to urban animal
