Description We are a USDA and FWC licensed 501(c)3 nonprofit sanctuary and educational facility located in Central Florida. At 101 Paws and Claws we are focused on exotic pet rehomes, fur farm rescues, and educating the public about their impact on the wildlife around them. 101 Paws and Claws does not breed, sell, or adopt any of our animals. We are a forever home to the animals that come to live with us. We strongly believe in conservation and that our part is through education and the changing of perspectives.

Great experience for a great cause! This is an intimate experience with plenty of education and some rare animals. You get to feed almost all the animals, even the capybara! We came here in a large group of 10 adults and had so much fun! I definitely recommend it if you love animals!

This is a beautiful place to visit, I love it here! I’ve visited many sanctuaries and rescues, and this is by far the best. The way 101 Paws and Claws care and interact with each of their animals is amazing, you can tell they love every one of them like a part of their fur-family. If you’re looking for an educational and peaceful environment to spend the afternoon this is the place. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My daughter is mad about capybaras and it was her birthday "wish" to pet one! I found 101 Paws and Claws online and booked one of their tours for her and her friend. WOW, what a hidden treasure this place is!! We were not expecting to see so many animals, there were capybaras (obviously 😃), goats, pot belly pigs, ducks, otter, emus, monkeys, racoons, porkupines, minks, skunks, foxes, ring tailed lemurs and patagonia maras!! This is a wildlife sanctuary and we had our own private tour that lasted just over 90 minutes. Our guide, Megan was very knowledgeable and informative about the animals. Her grandfather started the sanctuary and it is clearly a family passion! They rely on tours and donations, the tour was extremely affordable and was worth every penny! The place was well kept, clean and the animals looked happy and well cared for. We took a bag of carrots and 5 romaine lettuce and it all was munched up!! I would highly recommend 101 Paws and Claws!!

Such a wonderful little private zoo. The animals are so loved and well taken care of. They’re all rescued and many of them have disabilities and so it’s amazing that they have someplace safe to live out the rest of their lives. You can feed most of the animals and you can even pet some too. A great experience for animal lovers.

The best kept secret in mid Florida! We found this place looking for an opportunity for our daughter to see a Capybara in person. Little we knew the amazing variety of species they have there, and how impressively well kept they are. Once can tell there's an immense amount of effort, love, compassion and knowledge on every single habitat, and they just make sure every single animal has just the best of the best. The tour is incredibly informative, and they answered every question we had in a manner that when we arrived home, our kid was eager to know more and started investigating by herself. Maegan and the rest of the staff are top notch, super friendly and accommodating. There are not enough good things to say about 101 Paws and claws. We'll be back, for sure!!.

They have lot of cool animals there, including capybaras, raccoons, otters, lemurs, and more. The tour was really eye opening, as many of these animals are rescued from poor conditions on fur farms.
