Poorly managed. Not organized. Phones hardly ever picked up such as today 3/17/23. Officers aren't experienced as they should be. Reflects on City Manager. Need MAJOR IMPROVEMENT!!

I had a sick stray cat in my back yard, might have been hit by a car. Called these folks, within 30 minutes an animal control worker came over, caught the cat and took it to a vet. My neighbor also had a recent positive experience with these folks. Wish I got the gentleman's name, he was excellent. Also Patty in the office was great.

Needed to have a dog picked up to be put down because he attack me to the point where I needed stitches 🪡 they told me they don't do that and it's my responsibility to get that taken care of

i call Deltona Animal Control on tuesday Sept. 11, 2018 to have a dead animal removed that i saw next to our mailbox on monday eve. the lady transfer me to another dept and another lady took all my info and told me they would come the same day or the next day to have the dead raccoon removed. however this never happened so i called again on wednesday to ask why they had not send anyone yet so the lady who answered the phone told me my info was not in the system and that i had to call waste pro in sanford to have the dead animal removed. so i called waste pro and they told me that nobody had reported it to them. so i requested them to come and remove the dead animal but nobody has come yet!! Lets see how many more calls and days will take for the issue to be resolved!!!!!

They are too busy to help and that's not their fault but what I'm angry about is how they sympathise with you and tell you they will send someone out to help. You get your hopes up and you keep looking out the window every time you hear something thinking maybe it's them, stay at home waiting and keep the phone close so you don't miss a call from them and then nothing happens. You call again and same thing. I would rather just be told the truth that they can't help.

Called numerous times on loose dogs in our neighborhood to no avail. Owners walking dogs with no leash on.
