Nov.2020 got my Sammy from Dusty Puddles. It was obvious Sammy was well cared for while at DP. He's been a great dog, I feel lucky to have him. They are a legit rescue that puts the animals first. I feel good donating $ to DP. 5 Stars.

We found this scared chunky dachshund on the side of the road and could not bear leaving it there for the risk of a car hitting this poor baby. Due to our lease we could not keep her for extended periods of time and so we started looking for her owners with no luck. Out of the blue one of our friends mentioned this rescue and we contacted them. Luckily they had room for her and we drove this sweet dog to the rescue. The owner took her no questions asked when all other facilities in Lubbock turned us away. We are forever grateful to this wonderfully humane and merciful organization. Small update the dogs owner was eventually found to make the story even better.

Adopted 4th dog today! Aries and Maggie are doing great. The owners are the most pet loving and caring people you'll ever meet. Their kennell's are always clean, and the pets are well cared for. i wouldn't adopt from anywhere else!
