Description Family Animal Services has been offering pet cremation to the Portland Metro area and SW Washington since 1994. We partner with many veterinary clinics in the area to offer you our best care. You can rest assured that your pet will be safe in our hands. Our caring professionals are with you all the way through this process and we pride ourselves on trying to make it just a little easier for you during this difficult time. We know that losing your pet can be a traumatic experience and we want to make the grieving process as easy for you as possible. Absolutely amazing. When Oscar passed unexpectedly we were devastated. I still am. And these women wrapped us in love and compassion, making this unbearable experience comfortable and healing. Not just for us - but for Oscar’s devastated companion Wally. They welcomed him in to say his goodbyes and made us feel like family. If like us, you need extra TLC through this experience, go here. They are so kind because they love animals and have lost their own, so know what we’re going through. That level of engagement is priceless. Two of my elderly cats have passed in the last month & Family Animal Services was recommended to me. They were professional, caring, fast, and very reasonably priced. They have a nice selection of momentoes there as well. My sweet kitties came home in a small carved wooden box, with a paw print & clipping of hair. I highly recommend this place if you end up needing a dignified cremation for your fur baby.

I couldn't ask for a more understand, kind and compassionate team to work with. I've had two animals cremated in just a little over a year and Tina has done nothing but try to make me feel comfortable and make sure I get the services I need. She also treats the animals as if they were her own, which has always made me feel even more comfortable having them handle my animals. Also I've called around many places and they have the best price that I have been able to find. Especially the fact that you get a wooden urn included with your purchase. $205 for a 90lb dog was $170-$220 less expensive than any place I had called to find pricing on.

We lost our beloved cat, Bodhi and based on reviews chose Family Animal Services and I’m so glad we did. From when we first came in and to when we picked up his cremains they were compassionate and kind. They never once rushed us when we were saying our final goodbye and I trusted them immediately to take care of him. The wooden box is beautiful and they did a great job with the clay paw prints. Thank you so much for making a heartbreaking time more bearable! ❤️
