If I could leave less than 1 star I would. Dogs and cats living in inhumane conditions. A rescue was working with them and finding fosters for 7 adoptable dogs. Instead with no notice the dogs were euthanized. No compassion no humanity exists at this facility. It's deplorable. As ghandi once said you can tell the greatness of a nation by the way it treats it's animals . This facility should be closed. It's heartbreaking.

Union City had a rescue that has helped them immensely with equipment, medication, teaching them how to use adoption software and saved many dogs from this shelter. This rescue was ready to find foster homes for 7 dogs but instead Union City killed them. Perfectly friendly adoptable dogs. Killed. The conditions are deplorable and inhumane. The police chief and anyone else involved with this shelter should be ashamed and should be charged themselves with animal cruelty. Do better, Chief

Redhead lady was SUPER rude and assumed we were lying about if me and family lived together?? Told us on the phone it was 45$ to adopt a cat then when we got there the same day, it was 50$?? Then she said we had to go to a vet in the area the same day to get the cat a rabies shot and that we couldn't go anywhere else, well it was then 80$!! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! animals in bad condition too, the living conditions are discrete, kittens living in their own poop. (Edit) we get into the car after leaving the vets a few minutes later she poops in the crate WORMS!!!! And she threw up!! They said they dewormed them multiple times? Then why does the cat have moving worms in her poop??

I was making a delivery in the area and wanted to see what animals were available and not a human soul in sight. 835am on a Wednesday! Dogs inside barking! Hours say they open up at 7am. Wow...just wow. Poor pups.
