Midtown Veterinary Clinic is a cosy little neighborhood practice in Midtown Palo Alto. The staff are efficient and warm, especially a nurse named Genesis. The veterinarian is very knowledgable and attentive. I had a very satisfactory visit there with my dog.

The Doctors and everyone of the staff has been extremely knowledgeable, thoughtful and helpful throughout the times that I have been needing assistance for care for my kitty Meow and I will continue to have the needs for the care of my 10 year old kitty for all of his needs there. I’m very grateful for all the help they have been for me.

I am livid. If you're considering taking your beloved pet to this clinic, let me stop you immediately! Please don't do it! Trust me; stay away unless you enjoy being slapped with unexpected charges that drain your wallet faster than a Vegas slot machine. Let me paint you a picture of the horrors I've endured. First off, the staff. Oh, the staff! It's rude, irresponsible, uncooperative - they've been trained in a dungeon of customer service nightmares. Thanks to their sheer negligence, I'm out thousands of dollars. Yes, thousands. Details? Do you want details? Fine. These people might try to block me or deny it, but I'm here to tell you the truth. If you love your pet even a smidgen, do not, I repeat, do not bring them here. The veterinarian might know how to do the medical stuff well enough, but that doesn't matter when the rest of the staff is a circus of incompetence! The front desk is a chaotic mess. Scheduling? Forget it! You'll get more sense from a Magic 8-Ball. Call them? If you're lucky enough to get through, you'll be met with a level of palpable annoyance that makes you wonder if you interrupted their nap time. Need receipts or records? HA! Good luck with that. And depending on who picks up the phone (if you can even get someone to answer), you'll get answers that change like the weather. Want to know about appointment availability? I might flip a coin. Heads, you get an answer. Tails, you're screwed. The vet techs? Don't get me started. They don't bother to check medical records ahead of time. I scheduled a rabies shot with no exam, showed up, and surprise! The vet insists on an exam. Would it have killed the front staff to mention that? Then, one of these geniuses tries to give my dog a vaccine he's already had. TWICE. I had to step in, records in hand, to stop them. It was like playing defence against a bunch of toddlers with needles. Billing was a horror show of its own. By the end, I felt I was managing their office to determine what happened to my pet. And, oh, let's talk about their "emergency" services. They squeezed my dog in for an evening appointment after a long wait. The evaluation? Rushed and incomplete. Follow-up call? In your dreams. They refill meds prescribed by an ophthalmologist that my regular vet doesn't touch. It's all so disjointed! I'm switching vets. I suggest you do the same if you value your sanity and savings. This place is a joke. And not the funny kind, either. Avoid at all costs!

From the very first call to our final follow-up check, the staff at Midtown Veterinary have been impeccably comforting, courteous, and helpful! We’re traveling from out of state and had a small emergency and are so grateful to have been able to be treated by Dr. Hila and team. They know what they’re doing and show compassion. I trust their recommendations and am happy to report that our girl’s eye is all better now

I've had my ups and downs here. But so far they have been super helpful and lovely! Thank you Danielle! Always cheerful and knows her ways! I can say, I have two dogs, a male Dr. looked at my husky w/ more attention/thoughtfully than my mixed husky.. I was pretty upset about that. All dogs should be looked at evenly and probably more if mixed.. this is still a great vet. I will speak up in person, if I do not feel up too par being serviced here. Again, Thank You all employees, super lovely !

We are very happy to have Midtown Veterinary Hospital as part of our community, knowing that they are always there all day and late nights in case there are emergencies. Dr. Arman is very caring of the animals, and always spends the time to explain the situation and options patiently. The nurses and technicians are super helpful and professional.
