Recently got a new puppy. Dr. Roberts and the amazing staff at DVC took great care of my puppy during his surgery to get fixed. I will always choose DVC for my pet care needs!

They were so awesome from the young lady who checked us in to the helpers in the back. The vet did her check and a little surgery and called to see if we had any questions. They were also right on time. I have already recommended them to people here and El Centro

I have NEVER rant about any business ever in the 4 years I’ve been here in Yuma and never thought I would. I ask questions and give businesses the opportunity to explain why they do what they do before reacting. To say I’m upset is not even close to what I’m feeling but I feel it’s right to warn others of this behavior. Don’t EVER go to Desert Veterinary Clinic for an emergency unless you want to be given the run around about what they actually can do/will do for your pet. They will do treatment before proper diagnostic. It’s not my first time with vets and sick pets. An X-ray is needed when there’s a breathing issue! Forget it if it’s after hours. They’ll just send you right home with 3 week old puppy struggling to breath cause they want to leave already. Ask how much is it for over night care, they say oh it’s really expensive and won’t even tell you. Absolutely disgusting behavior, no compassion, no understanding. Doesn’t matter if you’re crying or upset. They don’t care! I’ve never been treated so badly in any establishment! If you have too many questions especially if it’s pertaining to their “estimate” they will send in other techs to tell you that’s the way it is so sign the estimate or surrender your dog or go to Mexico. They don’t care that’s your baby, they don’t care at all. My fa ult for not looking at their reviews stating Those estimates are not accurate until we were already there but it was an emergency. Proceed with caution if you must use them!!!

Love this vet. Definitely the best around the area. My dog has chronic allergies and stomach issues. I’ve had many issues at other vet’s scheduling appointments, getting in, and feeling pressured to run test. This vet does not pressure you into anything. They are very caring and helpful. I always get in right away they even have same day if you call at opening. Great veterinary assistants, and vets :))
