Description Toni's Kitty Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by Toni Sestak in 2003. The TKR community is an active, dedicated group of volunteers who provide foster care for orphaned kittens that are too young to be considered adoptable. TKR provides life-giving care to over 800 kittens annually.

We got out two kittens from Toni last year, I don't think we'd have been able to adopt if it weren't for her. We applied to multiple rescue agencies but we didn't hear back from them for months. I found Toni on google and two weeks later (they weren't neutered and was too young when we first saw them), we had our furballs bouncing around in our apartment. She helped get in touch with animal control to make sure we were going to get our kittens and it won't get lost during the pandemic. Toni took great care of her foster kittens, my kittens were healthy, energetic, and playful. She gave us great tips on vets and other services and her experiences around those, you can tell she really cares about them.

This is a special thanks to Toni & John Rockwell aka ROCKY. Through their kind help, we were able to help our beautiful cat, Willow. And possibly even save Willow’s life in the long run. Toni has been there for me, as a mentor & cat advocate friend. Took the time of her day to give me advice and helpful tips through several weeks! Today, Toni has done an incredible act of kindness, in the name of her beloved late friend “ROCKY”. Our beautiful 11 month old cat, Willow, developed a severe dental infection, which she had acquired as a maltreated kitten, living in the streets. Long story short: We wouldn’t have been able to help our Willow, had it not been for Toni & Rocky’s kind contribution. We had tried every rescue and shelter in our Area. They said they’re full & would euthanize her most likely if no candidate for adoption would show up soon for Willow. We were in need of an angel. And life gave us 2 angels. Alongside Toni, we also know that Rocky stood there, next to Willow and us. I learned through Toni, that Rocky was an angel to cats in need during his time on this earth. And now; Rocky continued to be an angel to people like myself and my wife, and to a cat in serious need, like Willow. Through his donations & Toni’s, Willow was able to go through an arduous urgent dental procedure, which lasted all day today. We’re deeply moved by the help Toni has given, in Rocky’s name, potentially saving the life of my dear beautiful WILLOW. We will NEVER forget what you guys did for us in a time of fear and uncertainty for our us and our beloved Willow. Toni and Rocky, Thank you for being our angels!

Twice I had stray cats making their way to my back yard. Someone from Toni’s came, waited patiently, and finally trapped them and brought them to SF Animal Shelter where they were adopted within 2 days. I only will donate to Toni’s Kitty Rescue because the customer service at SPCA was disappointing, so I stopped donating to them. I highly recommend helping Toni’s service. I would also love to foster, but I have 7 cats of my own that keep me busy.

I called about a baby kitten that I found that needed to be rescued. After telling them the situation, her only response was "oh it's going to die" didn't even bother trying to take it in. Don't call yourself a rescue you place when your not willing to rescue.
