I trusted these horrible people sadly but I warn you guys first-hand do not move in. There's a reason they are vacant. Patricia will smile and tell you your work and school schedule is okay only to leave you locked out. I provided the schedule provided to me by my manager and even offered human resources phone number for verification. Before moving in Day 1 she assured it would work out as long as I advise them ahead of time and provide them said schedule. Did as instructed before Day 1, even told house manager repeatedly and she said it was okay. I was very upfront about my dire financial situation and need for my children and I needing shelter with a heavy work amd school schedule. Yet I was told they day I move in that phones are to be taken at 9:30 pm, talk about red flag. DAY 3 I wake at 5 am for kids school and my school when my tire pops. I was told I could recieve help with them but couldn't reach anyone.I went to her office twice called repeatedly before noon, knowing my shift was 3-1am that day. I was unable to find or speak to her to assure she recieved my schedule. After figuring my ride out an hour into my shift I was emailed very late and that they could not accept my schedule. This is the day I get off at 1am and having being up since 5 am for school. I emailed her 40 mins after offered human resources number asked what that meant having had so much prepared to take for everyone, I wasn't just scared of having to sleep outside but now I also I have all these food donated for them in my car which I now have to sleep in. Talk about faith restored in humans. Save yourself the time. I'm going today to try to recover my things, but honestly I wish I had saved my time from the start. Reading from the reviews this is their distinctive pattern or habit to treat people this way so who knows if my personal property is even there.
i was there a week or 2 left from an abusive home and the women’s shelter felt like i was back in that abusive home. they go through your things steal your things at night, my roommate had her phone with her all the time but when it was me they went through my things, i got kicked out for going out on the weekend for a job interview and when my phone broke they tried saying i was lying. they’re so toxic and disrespectful and rude there. i got my housing at a better shelter in santa cruz. i 10/10 recommend going to santa cruz.
This organization is making an incredible difference in the Pajaro Valley Community. I have seen first hand the difference this organization is making. If you are ever in need, reach out and they will be happy to assist you. Don't forget, you are never alone through challenging times!
PVS is the ultimate worst shelter experience me and my child have e er had As a us citizen I can't believe the amount of unfairness they provided me and my child whit Nancy Sandoval The program manager if you can actually call that a program manager because you have to have what it take to be a real manager not just put you're foot down because rumors were said about someone should you put you're foot down it probably was because I chose to speak my mind and tell it like it was and called her our on how everyone else got away with brakeing rules and not get any write up like I did it's OK I figured she probably freeared me telling someone higher then herwitch I will still do this Monday morning not to mention most women there aren't even us citizens that's why they don't get any other bad reviews there homeless shelter is more like traditional housing so therejust fake and provide false hopes to people
They accepted my application last week 😁 for transitional housing for my son and I . First God 🙏 we will be accepted.
Great people great mission
