I have applied for a service dog. I was told I was approved & provided financial information. Everyone at FIMHF have been wonderful. Very knowledgeable about PTSD & service dogs. I am now waiting to hear about training. Apparently there isn’t a trained dog at this time. I’m hoping after the holidays I hear something. This a voluntary run foundation so I’m sure they are busy with their families for the holidays.

I can't say enough good things about the FIMHF. The volunteer directors, trainers, and families are so are hardworking and caring. Their training is fun and always positive. Their vet program and SD changed my life.

Some of the most dedicated and lovely people working behind this foundation. Such big hearts and a genuine love for helping dogs and veterans. Their pierogi making classes are so much fun too; would 100% recommend!
