We love (and our animals) Kensington! Dr Sinclair is amazing, and so knowledgeable. I have brought my tortoise Toto to them for some serious health issues, and they have helped us every step of the way and he’s a healthy boy now. We also had some complications at other vets, and they were able to figure out what was going on with our guinea pig Cinnamon with just a few tests. Exotics are treated wonderfully here! 💖

I give Kensington Bird and Animal Hospital 5 stars not only because they are very good at what they do on a medical and technical level but the care, concern and animal-to-human connection is stellar. We have 2 cats, 2 dogs and our Birdy-friend, Princess Maxeenah. Our 16 year old Pionus Maximillian parrot has been seeing Dr. C. since she was 3 months old and we had a recent visit for a check up and Bella was the assist for Dr. C. I found Bella to be amazing with Maxigirl. You could see the utmost care during the visit. It warmed my heart to see the love. Truly the best. We recently had to bring our 16 year old mini poodle, Angelique, in for an emergency and we knew we would have to make a decision to send her over rainbow bridge. We took her in when Mom was sick and were lucky enough to have her for 3 years. Mr. & Mrs. Dr. Bloom are terrific and spent a long time answering all of my questions and concerns with our dogs and cats! The care by the front desk staff is always very, very good. They have always been super with all of my questions and making appointments. Very likeable and are pleasant and accommodating. I would give 1000 stars if I could. I would recommend Kensington Bird & Animal Hospital highly! My pets are my family and KBAH provides the best care!

I was referred to Kensington by my local exotic vet. I was nervous to go to a new veterinarian, but when I got there, the staff was very kind and open with me about information and pricing. I was never left wondering what the next steps would be. The vet and the vet techs were all very supportive and helped me through the stressful process of my bearded dragon going through a spay surgery due to follicular stasis. They even contacted me multiple days after the surgery to check in with me when I had concerns. Overall, it was a great experience and made an already very stressful event, a little easier.

I’m a new pet owner— my Cockatiel Scooter was really nervous about his trip to the vet. They were quick to examine him and make sure he was comfortable and looked at thoroughly. He ended up needing antibiotics and has a much better diet! I even got a pamphlet for better taking care of him. He’s so happy and already has a pep in his step again. You really get a bang for your buck considering everything they give you.

If you have a pet parrot, you NEED to make this place your primary vet! I have a cockatiel and finding quality care for her over the years has been an a nightmare! So many places are just clueless when it comes to parrots as they don't have much of any hands on experience with them, but not here! My Tiel became sick last Friday and we had to bring her here to get checked out, she ended up having to be hospitalized for 5 days, and any parrot owner knows that having to leave your baby somewhere is a nerve wracking experience. But you can rest assured here that all the staff here will take amazing care of your feather baby! I have truly never felt more confident in the care and treatment from anywhere else. They called me every day to give me updates on my girl, and Dr. Sinclair was amazing at explaining everything to us and making sure we knew what was going on. Everyone here truly cares about the animals they have in their care, and I will never ever go anywhere near else for my parrot. 5/5, you will NOT be disappointed!

Definitely a great place for reptiles. I’ve been though about 4 vets this was my 5th the rest were unfortunately not very knowledgeable. Kensington took me in the day I called my Burmese python had a ri, and I knew she needed antibiotics before it got any worse. I was skeptical and nervous but once I spoke to the vet I reliezed fairly fast she knew reptiles well and had common sense she never left the room to research treatment which most of them do she selected the correct antibiotic which is not to harsh on my big girls system and handled my large snake with care minimal stress. Juicy and I are very grateful still administering the antibiotics but she’s clearing up awesome I highly recommend them for reptiles I’ve been keeping for a long time and I can tell when a vet knows and it’s nice when for once they know me then me educating a vet is stressful and I did not have to do it in this case. Hoping to get a picture of her and their team upon her check up after the antibiotics are done.
