While I did buy the sweetest kitty (previously obassi but we renamed him Frankie) they did tell me he was 2.5 full grown and great with other kitties! It has only been 3 months, I’ve done all the steps/ put both of their food bowls right next to the door that separates them, waited a month before them meeting, encouraged good behavior. Frankie still attacks my small cat every time he sees him. I have also found out Frankie is not a grey tabby that is 2.5 years old. He is 11 months old, and a Norwegian forest cat- in conclusion he’s huge and needs more food than the normal cat. Since I’ve gotten him he’s grown 5 inches, and gained 7 pounds. He is the size of an actual medium size dog right now and he won’t stop growing for another two years. I’ve brought him to multiple vets that told me that he is insanely huge for his age because he is still teething and growing teeth they believe he isn’t even a year old yet! I love Frankie so much, but I feel like the shelter needed to do a little more with informing me or doing their exam on him.

The staff are great! My new dog has filled my heart with love and appreciation! A huge thank you to all the volunteers and staff that made it so easy to add a new member to my family. I couldn't have hoped for a better dog...

I can't really say much negative. All of the employees were extremely kind and obviously were there for the animals. The kennels kinda smelled but that's because they are dog kennels, so I get it. We didn't go in the cat area, but it seemed very clean and pleasant. They were quick with helping us and showing us the dog we came in to see. The boy we chose had been well cared for, didn't stink, was obviously looked after during his stay at the shelter. Their prices are considerably lower compared to any other place in the area for comparable services. We left with a new member of our family for under $200 and he is neutered with all of his shots and microchipped at 1 year and 2 weeks old. We did have to bring him back to get a second round of routine shots one week later, but they made it really easy for both of us! I sincerely wish we didn't have such a high demand for places like this, but we do and I sincerely hope more people visit here and other shelters when looking for a pet over breeders. They are saving lives and so are you when you do it.

The staff was amazing there. I found a really tiny kitten on the side on powell getting ready to cross when I swooped her up. Both eyes were a goopy mess and she desperately needed help that I couldn't provide because my vet was not available. I couldn't keep her because I didn't want my pets getting sick. I immediately thought of this place and called them. Everyone was super sweet and one staff member offered my daughter his ear protection headphones while we visited the dogs because they barked and barked loud. When we're ready for a new pet, we'll definitely be going here to adopt
