Can't say enough good things about Ark - Dr. Chu and everyone else there are really fantastic. I have had a couple of weird and unexpected things come up with my dog including a large tumor, and they've been not only compassionate but also always thorough and informative. I ask a lot of questions and have never felt remotely rushed or like they were glossing over any details. Highly recommended!

I have been going to Ark on balboa for 25 years. They have been there for our family through think and thin, with expertise, professionalism, and most of all, sincere Compassion. They have tended to some of the most painful experiences our family has endured. I recommend them strongly. From trimming nails, to the losing of a loved one Ark Animal Hospital has been through it all with us.

Ark Animal Hospital has got to be the BEST veterinary facility in San Diego!! The staff is superb and we just LOVE LOVE LOVE Dr. Chu. She is an excellent veterinarian. THIS FACILITY IS PRIVATELY OWNED AND NOT AFFILIATED WITH OTHER PLACES WITH THE SAME NAME! Everyone is very knowledgeable about animals! Their prices are extremely reasonable, too! We have gone to many vets here in the San Diego area but when we happened across Ark Animal Hospital we made this place our go-to for everything for our cats! We have been customers now since 2005. Since that time we have had to euthanize two cats (one in 2010 and one in 2014) They took great care of both fur babies and handled the very painful experience so professionally! When it was time to acquire a new kitten, they were amazing with her and we continue to bring Lily in for her yearly exams. she feels very comfortable with the staff and gets cool kitty treats!! We are very satisfied with Ark Animal Hospital and we highly recommend them! (This review is also in yelp)

Love this veterinary hospital very clean, friendly staff and Dr Chu is the best. Been coming here since Dr. Hetzler had it!

Dr. Ou and Dr. Chu are amazing!! Excellent doctors who listen well, answer questions thoroughly, and provide high quality care for my pets. Staff is happy and friendly. Everyone there is highly dedicated to providing the best care. Highly recommend!
