Description VCA Yucca Valley Animal Hospital is your small town veterinary hospital. We started in 1981 with two veterinarians and have grown along with our Hi-desert community to six veterinarians and an amazing support staff. As a well-established, full service veterinary hospital we offer top-of-the-line medical care and outstanding client service. Services include exams, vaccines, surgeries, dental care, microchipping, domestic & international health certificates, cold laser therapy, diagnostics, x-rays, euthanasia & cremation services. Ultrasounds, soft tissue & orthopedic surgeries are scheduled by appointment with traveling doctors. We offer urgent care most Mondays through Fridays 8am to 5:30 pm. We see avians, reptiles, and pocket pets.

I had to make the decision to have my baby girl euthanized and was hesitant about calling, especially on a Saturday and they are not our regular vet. They were very empathetic and supportive and validated my decision after the front desk spoke with the vet. Made me an appointment two hours from when I called so we had some time to spend with our precious Lola. Put us right away in a room and explained everything they had to do. Even though we miss her very much, it eased our minds knowing she was handled in a thoughtful humane manner. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts 💕

I really like the VCA facility and all the staff. We trust them with our pet dog Lola and would recommend them. I especially love the ability to use their pet portal to make appointments and check on any updates for Lola.

I have been to this VCA branch 4 times with two pets, one a senior and the other a puppy. The people That have assisted from the front desk to vets and in between have had some of the best bed side manners I have experienced in all the vets I have had in the many places I have lived. Yes they are busy, but they have taken time with us each time. I never felt rushed. I had to put my senior chihuahua to sleep yesterday, and the sincere level of kindness and safe space they created for us while balancing emergencies and the many other patients. Had a wonderful experience here with Dr. Mower and staff! I was able to get an appointment relatively quickly to have my senior dog seen for facial swelling from an abscessed tooth. Dr. Mower was very kind, explained everything thoroughly and came up with a detailed care plan for my pup, I loved that she sat on the floor with my dog to ease her nervousness. Care staff and techs were very personable and down to earth, really appreciate the compassionate care my baby received! Thank you all so much!

Such kind and warm people work here. The vets are all very nice and helpful. I know they are super busy but they always make you feel like they have time for you. So grateful for all they do.
