I adopted Gizmo on Valentine’s Day! My dog needed a friend. I had a good overall experience. They had a special so all I paid was $25 this included vaccines and neutering. I think the shelter has to advertise their holiday specials. I was the only customer. Gizmo was so happy on the drive home. The only bad thing I have to say is durning the meet and greet, staff tried to convince me not to adopt him because he is aggressive and bites. That was far from true he is the sweetest little guy. He saved my other dog Gypsy from his separation anxiety. I no longer come home to chewed up door frames.Gizmo keeps him calm while I’m at work.
We recently rescued a dog and brought him to this shelter for check up and neuter. the staff was beyond helpful and considerate when taking care of our new dog. answered all of our questions and concerns and even offered care that would best assist him with the surgery. i have never been happier to take our new dog to this shelter and we will definitely be coming back if any other problems should occur with our dog.
I loved it! All the animals were so cute! But it was pretty loud due to all the barking from the dogs. The animals look like they're in great care!
I was their to pay for Shana's dog license. The staff was friendly. The lobby was very clean. My stop was brief, and I really wanted to visit the animals, but I had just paid a vet bill that was over $350.00, so I knew I had better not visit. Because I love every animal I see, and I usually have the max I can ADOPT legally. I just lost two of my doggies to old age. Mikki was 16 years old, and Sparky was 13 years old. Both rescues. Go and adopt an animal!!!! So many need loving homes!!! You will be so blessed with unconditional love!!!! And if you are lucky - lots of kisses!!!!! (Left to right) Mikki, Sparky, and Shana
The purpose of this review is to raise awareness of the malpractice and irresponsible attitude that caused my cat to die. My cat was perfectly healthy and after a spay appointment she developed an internal infection. In a matter of 5 days total she went in sepsis. Suffering and in pain at the examination table on a follow up appointment . The team of Vets did not take responsibility suggesting other possibilities of her symptoms. A competent honest Vet would have evaluated the situation better and professionally. They offered to attend her only if I paid additional costs. Beware !!! Not a safe clinic for your loved one. No one deserves this.
Called to see if there was room to surrender a stray cat we found a few weeks ago, the receptionist told me to just throw the cat back outside. I was just so astounded that someone working for a shelter couldnt care about an animals well being. I also work with animals so hearing this “advice” from the receptionist just made me worried if animals are really being cared for at this facility.
