Description Lily's Haven Equine Rescue works to save horses across the southeast by rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming. Our goals include extending our rehabilitation to the public and will offer therapeutic riding and equine therapy. We offer boarding, Training, lessons. Summer camps, after school activities. Started coming here 3 years ago when it first opened and just recently started coming back. When I tell you this place has grown and blossomed into a beautiful place I'm not lying. April is amazing with her horses and you can tell she cares deeply about them. She's put a lot of love and effort into making sure these horses are cared for, and you can tell just by looking at them. I'm looking into getting my own horse and she's been extremely helpful with the entire process. If you are looking to buy or board your horse for a decent price then this is the place to go. Thank you guys for being amazing!

Bought a horse from this person, but unfortunately she was not completely honest or stayed true to her word when I called her to let her know that I was not satisfied with the horse. We traveled 3 hours to pick up the horse and it looked underweight(back bone showing through) not from what photos she sent before we saw in person. We felt sorry for the horse, so we took him anyway and with traveling so far. The location was in poor conditions and not appealing. With under our care, the horse is looking better and feeling better. The horse was not the height she mentioned, and did not ride the way she claimed. She also mentioned through video messenger that if we were not satisfied we could bring the horse back and in exchange for another. She did not mention any specific date to let her know by. We had tried several times to get in touch with the owner and she refuses to contact me back to even give me advice on what to do to fix these issues. Very misleading and not trust worthy. Will never do business with this person and business again!!!

I can’t say enough thank you’s to April and Lily’s Haven! They truly care and love on all these horses. We rescued 2 from a kill pen and were brought here. They are thriving from the love and care and all the attention they are getting. They treat them as there own. They are a non-profit organization so everything they do either comes out of their pockets or from donations. We feel very blessed to have found April and Lily’s Haven!!

She's absolutely amazing with all of the animals and truly cares and loves them. She spends all of her time there making sure each and every single one of the animals taken care of. The land is absolutely beautiful and if y'all were to come out you'd be more then pleased with the place and Aprils work

We have enjoyed meeting April and are happy we found her barn. It is really special what she does with all of these horses. She is very patient with new families and has been very supportive with my family as we determine how we want to go about getting my daughter her own horse as she's been riding now several years and it is getting to the next level. We are appreciative of April and my daughter absolutely loves visiting Lily's Haven. It really is a peaceful place and truly calming to spend time with the horses. I highly recommend anyone paying her and the barn a visit.

This may get lengthy but it will be worth the read. I met April Christmas week this past December looking for information on getting my daughter her own horse as she has been riding for awhile now and I want her to have the responsibility of owning and caring for her own. I showed up unexpected and talked to April for about 45 mins as she was leaving for another engagement, and I'm so glad she took the time out of her day for me. She worked with me on getting a Christmas Day gift for my daughter to be able to go to the facility, meet April and begin the process of finding a horse suitable for her. Long story short after my wife and daughter met April we all immediately felt like family and went on to rescue two horses not originally at Lily's Haven but now call it home. We all love visiting not only our horses but all those that call the rescue home. What started out as a gift for my daughter has now become horses for both her and my wife, it is truly AMAZING watching our new family members get healthier as our horses were truly rescued and I'm so glad April and Lily's Haven opened our eyes to how great these animals are, and giving them a second chance on life. Finally April and Lily's Haven is a wonderful place for any horse in need of rescue, they love and care for every horse there, my family has seen it and been a part of it daily.
